Out of all the places in the world to surf, you wanna make a trip to the East Coast??? you would wanna come in August-September during hurricane season. Cape Hatteras is home to the best waves on the EC, a place called S Turns is an awesome wave. Don't know much about Florida personally, but it definitely does break. Beaches like Juno, New Symrna(I think shark bite capital of the world) and Cocoa are most popular.
I'm stuck in Kentucky. I'm trying to find somewhere close and inexpensive. I can only afford one decent trip per year, Mexico once and San Diego twice so far. Hopefully I can go somewhere nice this coming year again. I just miss it and want to go as much as I can and keep it affordable. I do not know how to surf, but my dream is to move near an ocean and start taking surfing lessons. My husband thinks its crazy but it's what I want to do! I keep hoping someday soon!!!*********************************************************************************************

I love the ocean. Last year I told a friend I was going to go to Australia and learn to surf and they laughed...but now I think I really do want to do it. Or I guess Tofino in BC would be closer but Australia sounds nicer
