I like the fact that Ames is giving a chance to other artist to design some posters for PJ but what the F! This guy had a great chance he blew it! At least for me everything is wrong in that poster from the color scheme to the uninspired desing...

yup......that's the worst one yet this tour. I'm really digging the others from this tour though......maybe not so much calgary's too.

    The lettering is horrendous.
Very disappointed in all of the posters thus far. What happened to the quality and imagination of the PJ posters?

London has like 3 of the worst posters in the history of Pearl Jam posters. The 2 this year are really bad, and the one from 2007 might be the worst ever. The mammoth with the pills...ehhh

Well....I thought London had the worst poster, that is until I saw the Chicago 23 poster. Does anybody like this thing?????

I like the Manchester one. :? :) don't know what Berlin looks like though.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I thought the London one was ok, and the Berlin one looks great! The only thing I like about the Chicago night 1 poster is that there is some sentimental value for Jeff in it.

I was at both Manchester and London.

For me, the Manchester poster is very ordinary. Very, very ordinary.

London however I really like. A lot.

didn't think much at all of the O2 poster was very disappointed, got it anyway though :?:

I have to say I like the mammoth 2007 poster, typical ames design, something us brits always seem to get short changed on with the posters.

1996 sharks poster is quite cool as well, although 2000 UK tour poster was disappointing as well, dull colours.

Anyone found out who the SBE artist is. Apparently it isn't ames, but the style screams ames all over it to me.

Manchester poster is quality, its second to the Torronto so far. I agree the londons suck, the berlin is average, the chicagos are poor - even the tom tomorrow one, and the rotterdam is said to be nice in person.

that swan is sweet though, anyone who thinks otherwwise is wrong

I wish I had picked one up now, despite feeling a little sad when I saw it (and the rest of the merch on offer) at the 02. Thought there would be more available through 10c Goods section - I MUST CONSUME!!

I agree. Neither London poster did it for me this year (Shepherds Bush is awful), but the 2007 poster is cool :)
If I knew where it was, I would take you there...

I was excited before the O2 gig when I saw the Manchester poster. I really liked it, like the way the words Pearl Jam are made up in the pool of oil and like the colours. I wish it was the London poster and the Manchester posse got our terrible gold eagle, or whatever it is. The typography is awful on that poster.

SBE poster is much better than the O2, and one thing I will say for the SBE poster, it's much much nicer in the flesh, nice quality print etc. O2 is just poor, poor, poor in every way, don't think I could bring myself to put it on my wall.

PS if anyone has a Eddie Vedder solo tour poster (east Coast 08 - black background and turquoise) they are willing to sell I'd love that poster.

This was my 5th Pearl Jam gig. Was at both London and Manchester. I personally thought the London one was a better poster. That picture doesnt do it justice. I really like it and am planning on getting it framed and putting my ticket stub and wrist band in as well. Corny, but was amazing gig and I love the poster. I mean come one.....those rabbits are obviously going to get killed. Hardcore :D

It's not the best, but I had to get at as it's a show I've been to and it's still a cool memento from the night. Manchester was much better though, I really like the swan image. That and Klausen's other poster from Toronto are the best so far, for me.

I got both London ones. The SBE one looks really good framed, I mounted it on red card and put it in a black frame, I'll get a picture up soon - I promise it looks better than you would imagine!

I framed the O2 one too, I actually think the quality of the poster is really good. I think it's let down by the script, and the random red bit in the corner though. Still, most posters look better when they are framed.

The only other one I have is the sharks one from '96 (I can't believe it's 13 years old!!). I've had this poster on my wall ever since the gig, and at the time I didn't really realise they were collectable, so I just pinned it up, and then at a later date blue-tacked it up! Consequently the corners are screwed, so I had to get a bit creative when I framed it the other day!

The Toronto print is amazing, I wish I had the money to buy one - I'm imagining it would cost quite a bit to get one on ebay and ship it to the UK.
