  • Believe it or not, I just got home from the gig the other day (ok, granted I went wandering around Spain for a couple of weeks straight after the show.

For what it's worth, here's my pictures, jazzed up in a super-hi-tech musical slideshow  to hide the fact that the pictures aren't as amazing as some on here (seriously, whoever took that close-up ed's guitar spotlight trick guitar - nice work! That's dynamite!) But the memories they bring back are amazing... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w16nu1BVhSI

There's also a short clip I took of Supersonic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bka0-JBUruw)& a longer one of Got Some (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w24MOTu1RL4).

    Enjoy!

I felt like I'd fallen a little bit out of love after Monday night. There didn't seem to be the connection, the energy on stage and I left deflated and disappointed ... really didn't think it was up to much. But then last night came ... phew ! My heart's been won again ! It's all already been said here ... except to add that Ed said himself that they could've been playing Carnegie Hall on Monday night and they'd have still sounded crap. Good to know it wasn't just me ...
I felt that too after Manchester... thought maybe I was losing a bit of the obsession... it was just a really good concert by ANY band's standard. But London brought it all back or me and was right up there with the best I've seen. I'm glad I didn't just go to Manchester or I'd be very confused right now

  • A definite highlight was meeting the INFAMOUS Heineken Helen!! :D

I actually didn't think she existed!!

Helen, it was an absoloute pleasure meeting you and enjoying the gig with you and the Dublin crew.
I had one too many beverages ( like Al, it was his fault). Never enjoyed a PJam gig in that perspective before.

    Happy days!
