    Hudspeth County sheriff said the tour bus had pulled into the Border Patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, about 90 miles (145 km) east of El Paso

    The incident took place at the same checkpoint where singers Willie Nelson and Fiona Apple, rapper Snoop Dogg and actor Armand Hammer have been stopped for possession of controlled substances. The checkpoint, which is not on the border, is used by the Border Patrol to check the citizenship status of motorists on Interstate 10

    I'm back!

    Fun weekend in Austin... Got to take in: Tegan & Sara, Florence and the Machine, The Black Keys, Metric, The Roots, Band of Skulls, a little bit of The Shins, Jack White, the tail end of Neil + Crazy Horse, Gary Clark Junior, The Civil Wars, Iggy and The Stooges, and RHCP.... not bad for $185 + gas money!

    It feels almost dirty to say that I went to Jack White over Uncle Neil... but I don't regret it... Jack, and the all-female band he has with him, were just fucking incredible... Highlight of the weekend... followed closely by Flo+the machine.... :D
    Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
