    I spoke with many people after the ACL festival who were amazed at PJ's performance, but didn't even know the band still toured or was even still together because they hadn't come to Texas for so long!

    We have enough droughts down here as it is...we don't need a Pearl Jam drought!

    This yankee thinks it's a great idea for a Southern Tour.....seeing as I have never been south of the good ole mason/dixon...it would be a nice to take in some sights, see a show, enjoy some southern hospitality and eat BBQ! Who has the best BBQ down there anyway? hehe ;)

    I don't know about BBQ here but had some awesome stuff in KC last tour. :lol:

    might be able to point you in the direction of some awesome turnip greens though :D

    My wife and I drove by the Fox last night on the way home from work and it caused me to turn to her and mutter that I couldn't believe PJ refuses to play Atlanta.

    I think they'll include ATL on the next SE tour - hopefully in 2011. At least Ed played two killer solo shows there - better than nothing

    I was just in Florida, and although Florida is geographically the south, it is hard pressed to find anyone who lives there that is actually FROM the south. (almost) Everyone I met was a transplant from the north at some point in their life. A lot of them you just have to listen to, you don't even have to ask... :D

    Been a while for me (Mansfield #2 08). Should have bitten on EV in Atlanta, but decided to pass for money concerns. Need some more PJ in my life.
