It was funny at the hotel after, everyone walking through the lobby, jeans rolled up to the knees, mud everywhere and no shoes or socks, like hobbits.
hotel?
I got straight into the car and drove back to Houston like that! had to be at work for 7 the next morning...
by the time I got back to houston it was all caked on.... i had to pick it all off... painfully....
I almost cried when I got back to my apartment. I de-pantsed, and my jeans got stuck underneath my door and mud spewed all over my carpet. But other than that, great show!

my friend (whose car we drove back in) was not happy the next day. He didn't realize how much of a state the car was in until he got up to go to work the next day...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
Bump! Matt Cameron will be in Dallas tomorrow with Soundgarden so hopefully the crowd will be outstanding and Matt can come back with PJ next year!
almost made the trip up to the big D to see that show...
however I caught SG on the opening night of the tour in Toronto, so i couldn't justify time off work for it...
If you're going, enjoy! a bunch of my friends are headed to Voodoo from Houston the weekend to catch them... I couldn't make that trip either... so rotted... I am dying to see the racontours.... :(

The how was Soungarden last night if anyone went bump?
They were amazing. I've never seen them live before although seen Cornell solo and at PJ20. They said they have a new album coming out in the Spring and mentioned next time they come through they will play new stuff, but stuck to all their old songs this time. They nearly played every song off A-Sides so it was like a greatest hits show pretty much! If you can make it to Voodoo you should go see them since it's prob their last show until next year.
Southwest Florida bump. I'd take Tampa/St. Pete or Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. Of course, I'd also take Germain Arena in Estero. STP played there last October, why not PJ? One can dream, right?
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.
