What boggles my mind the last couple of days is this Fenway rumor...
For the life of me, I can't understand why Pearl Jam would even consider it... So I'm assuming it's just that: a rumor...
As I've said before, if PJ is going to do any other 2011 US shows, they would be stupid to do them anywhere other than in the south... The south is the area of the country furthest from Alpine Valley, with the highest travel cost to get there - so logically speaking it should be the area with the smallest amount of fans attending and therefore the best candidate for a tour (as you will get more people to come out)...
Playing Fenway would be a god-awful mistake.... yea sure, they've already sold the tickets, but does PJ want to play in front of a 1/2 empty Theater? Cause I gaurentee you most people from the northeast will cancel their travel plans if they can just drive to Boston instead... there will be no getting raped by limited hotels over labor day weekend, no airfare, cheaper places to eat/drink, more accessability in general....Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -

I feel the exact same. If they announce a South date, I will still be going to PJ20 and just make more plans for the South show. I doubt many Southernors would cancel their PJ20 plans for a date here considering how hungry we are for any PJ show. The Fenway rumor burns me up inside.0 -
I hate to say it but, I don't think they are announcing Southern dates anytime soon.PLAY THE SOUTH0

Atlanta 12
Charlotte 13
St Louis 14
Greenville 16
St Louis 22

Toyota Center in Houston please, then hit the Irwin Center in Austin and swing by the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas. All 3 shows would sell out and be loud as hell. Then you can head towards Florida and hit the highlights in between.
You're welcome for figuring it out. Now do it! Please?"Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau

Voodoo sucks.
nothin.
my boy actually came through town last night, and had nothing to say.
I don't see any reason to think otherwise though.
I know it sounds insane, and I only half believe it myself.
But I can only have trust in the source, and be FAITHFUL.
we all believe, we all believe it.If I was to smile and I held out my hand
