The show at Wuhlheide was great, the crowd was fantastic.

Have you ever been at a better outdor venue?
If,why is it better than Wuhlheide?

I saw PJ at Wuulheide in 2006, great place for a gig. Last year I saw the Foo's at Red Rocks in Colorado, not the same scale of venue but an un-beatable setting.

Also Nijmegen was very nice... I like it when the sun goes down behind the stage... gives it extra atmosphere

Arena di Verona is truly memorable but none of those have anything on The Gorge!

That setting simply can´t be beat!!!

Let´s forget though that it´s impossible to get to...

I personally have never been to any venue that came even close to the awesomeness of Wuhlheide (athmosphere-wise; of course, the Pearl Jams played their part in the greatness, too ;) ).

However, from what I hear (and what previous posters have said), The Gorge and Verona should be at least just as good / better.

    Sydney Opera House forecourt.

That's more for the backdrop, though. Wuhlheide wins on every other count.

Comcast and Dodgey Music Centres last year were cool but they were 3/4 covered. Berlin was great weather so this total open air venue was sweeet. Even though the area it was in wasn't practical, it was still nice surroundings.
