Looks like the entire hotel is sold out, not just the 10C rate.

What's the parking deal? i thought it was $30 a night to park in their garage! I was thinking of finding a cheaper lot in the area, even if I have to walk a few blocks.

Yeah....seconded. Is there a parking deal too? I didn't see anything about it. Of course I was in such a rush to reserve the room that I kind of glossed over the details! :)

    aw thanks.
i only ask b/c pricelines makes you put in an area, say like downtown or something, to do your search. i don't know philly at all, so no idea what area market street would fall. i also don't know where on the board this other post exists, so eh well.....have to wait and see. sure to try priceline eventually since shut out of the radisson deal.

Demetrios - Thanks for the parking info.

For those of you that didn't get the PJ Radisson deals, here is a thread that talks about what people bid on Priceline to get the Radisson (not sure that will available anymore) and the Omni...

Also, here is a general site about bidding on Priceline... http://biddingfortravel.yuku.com/

Did they ever extend the PJ rates to Tuesday night? I booked early at the standard rate, but they said I could change it if the offer was updated for Tuesday night.

I spoke with the hotel last night. Like you, I reserved at the full price with the understanding that I'd be able to change to the 10c rate should it go through. They changed my rate to $119 and said they didn't expect to have any lower rates available. If you're paying more than $119, I'd recommend calling as soon as you get the chance to secure the lower rate, then, if need be, you can always call back.

    *edit*
Big thanks to 10c & the Radisson for hooking us up, and to those on the boards for keeping us in the loop!

alrighty, glad to know i am not alone. i tried 59 and zilch.
i think what Q posted above is probably true. the demand for hotels in the area has been deemed high for that time and/or also the amount of rooms designated to be sold at lower costs already taken, so definitely have to bid higher. eh well, would've been an awesome score - $55 a night - but still have $20 worth to catch up with the pj/radisson deal, so hopefully still a good deal to be had somewhere in a 3* in philly!

    *fingers crossed*

Were you able to get 75 for Tuesday night? I could only get online or by phone 119.
Got 119 for Tuesday night, and 75 dollars Wednesday to Saturday night.

Thanks! I called and got the 119 rate. I had to take a non-sleep number room for Tuesday night, but I don't care. It's much cheaper than the $239 they had booked me at. I'll switch rooms on Wed. then back to my originally reserved room.
