  • Thanks, I am happily married as well, so I wont listen to any of the sarcastic answer! But I do need a place to stay, since i am coming from Connecticut. So any suggestion would be great!!!

looks like the Radisson is a good deal, I'm going to check it out
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
    ride"!

Not bad! I'm thinking that Priceline could beat those rates significantly though.

It is AWESOME of 10Club to get these group rates. All 3 hotels are priced very reasonably for Philly. It is an expensive place. Downtown or Penn's landing you can pay $200+ a night very easily. I may choose one of the 10C hotels instead of the one I already booked for.

there is a Days Inn in Gloucester City, NJ which should be available and affordable. Gloucester City is right across the bridge from the venue and it would be a very reasonable cab-ride (especially if shared)
  • Just booked the Radisson

Going to be hard pressed to find a better deal than that at a decent place, and this way I don't have to worry about it

Also don't have to pay for it now like I would with Priceline, etc.

Woman couldn't believe how good the group rate was. Just as a point of comparison, the rate for the night before the group rate starts is $225/night.

Bet there are a lot of 10Cers there

    Should be great!

I booked the radisson weeks ago on priceline and it was the same.

The Raddison looks to be a good place, I usually check tripadvisor whenever traveling and have yet to be disappointed.

However, I also agree that priceline should be able to knock at least $35 off for the same type of hotel.

Never thought I would see the day that 10c would be working group rates for hotels for fans.

That is pretty cool right there.

you think you're getting a decent hotel in Philly for $40 a night?

more power tp you if you can

Does anyone know how that Embassy Suites is location-wise? I have some hilton points I can use to get one of the nights free, but I didnt know if it was close to the subway. I'm trying to avoid renting a car... but their free breakfast is awesome and if I can get a night (or two if I can earn some points before them) would make up for the extra price.

    Thanks!

I keep getting .. Unfortunately, the promotional rate you are searching for is not available. To view other rates available for the dates you have chosen, please select "View More Rates". To choose a different hotel, modify dates of stay, or change the number of room occupants, please select "Start Over".

I just booked the Radisson. $75/night cancellable rate for a 3.5* hotel in downtown Philly is a really fucking good deal. This way, I don't have to pay now but have something all lined up. If for any reason plans fell through, I won't get charged. I may check Priceline the week of the show to see if there are any great deals to be had, but I'm pretty satisfied with this price. Priceline wouldn't get it any lower than about $60/night at an absolute minimum (and then the tax+fee price on Priceline is higher). Everybody should jump at this offer before it's booked up.

BTW, Possibly the best part of this hotel is that it's three blocks from a Metro stop that will go straight to the Spectrum.

If anyone talks to the hotel, ask them what the price to park each night is. This can add some cost to the reservation when it's not included in the price.

Exactly - you're dreaming if you think you can get a room for $40.

You're not going to beat $70 for a decent hotel.

    valet = $30/night

there are two garages within 2 blocks or so where the daily rates range from $13 to $19/night

Jesus, I'm not used to those kind of prices. I think I'm going to try to find a station somewhere on the
Metro line that has free overnight parking!!!

Whoa! The promotion code doesn't work for Redisson Hotels, if you are staying from the 26th or 27th to November 1st! :| Even 1 bed or 2 beds! D'oh! :(

Also working on a group rate at the Holiday Inn at Stadium (about $100). Not as nice as the other places, but is decent 3 star (stayed there in 05).

For those who don't want to pay for parking, don't care for Philly sites, or drive, this could be another option.

I think it works from the 28th-1st. However, I'm guessing that leaving the first night out is just a glitch in the system (they're thinking that the shows are four consecutive nights and aren't factoring in the Thursday night off). I'd call the hotel and try to get it booked for all nights you want to stay there.

I would just call them and see if its a glitch or if its not part of the discount. I would assume its just a glitch.
