Local boy Luke Longley (ex Chicago Bulls) was at the Perth Burswood Dome show in 2003 side of stage most of the night. Eddie changed the lyric in wishlist to "I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as Luke Longley"

EV Solo in LA night 2
I was 6 row front and center. About 5 rows behind me was Meg Ryan who was rocking out!! Ben Harper was seated in the crowd and also went on stage to play "All Along The Watchtower" for a second encore with Jack Irons. Two row behind me and 2 seats over was the drummer from The Police. Tom Brady was also there... crazy night for Celebs

My opinion Best EV show to date...We blew out our cell phones singing happy birthday to is Grandma... and I have also attended Mil, Ch I, and Ch 2

Robert Plant was on the balcony in The Astoria in 2006. Mike threw a Led Zep riff into the Yellow Ledbetter outro solo and the lights pointed at RP. Kelly Jones from Stereophonics was in the crowd that night too.

Mark Richards (surfing legend) chose the setlist for the Newcastle Australia show in 06 and came out onstage to say hi (and down a bottle of wine!)

“Put yer good money on the sunrise”

He also came onstage at Ed's 2nd solo show in Honolulu to start the tape reel for the beginning of Hard Sun

Don't think anyone has mentioned the Sean Penn appearance at Berkeley 2 during the 2008 solo show.

Ed brought him on stage and sang a roast to him "Just another bad acting hack" ... if you can find the bootleg, it's pretty funny.

In 2006, I saw several of the Giants pitching staff in attendance at one of the gigs at the Bill Graham, certianly spotted Matt Morris and Jason Schmidt.

I hope you don't mind my asking something here...

why do I keep seeing bad things said about the Olsen twins?

Yes I know they are very very rich...but they clearly enjoy PJ as much as we do.

So why all the nasty remarks? :-/

And I'm glad I didn't sit next to them...I'd feel stupid because I wouldn't be able to stop staring at them and going, "OMG...I can't believe how all grown up you two are! I remember when you were just babies... this tiny!!"

*gets thrown out by their security guards* :P

This isn't going to make any sense to you if you aren't from a cricket playing nation but...
At Melbourne 1 in 2006 Shane Warne was there sporting an avocado t-shirt and a couple of blondes on his arm.
When people spotted him going to his seat the chant went up: 'Warney... Warney... Warney...!'
It was Melbourne after all, and he is a Melbourne boy and probably the greatest bowler of all time.

    Who?

Chris McCandless is the guy that made that voyage to Alaska..in Into The Wild.

I saw Ron Silver at MSG, a number of weeks or months before he died. Also I think one or two of the Olsen girls was there too. From the tickets Ron had, I believe he was not part of the band's guests.

you mean THE Ron Silver!? And the fucking OLSENS!? fuck yeah!!!!!!!

I walked past Jonah Hill on the steps during Yellow Ledbetter, and only realised it was him at the last moment.

Matt Horne seems to be everywhere! I've seen him at loads of gigs. I think he stalks me :(

Went to Dallas show in July '98 and Dennis Rodman was there on stage and actually TRIED to sing "Hail, Hail" with the band and he even got Eddie on his shoulders and danced around the stage. Dennis was drunk and I thought Ed was gonna do a header off the stage. Mind you this was like 4 songs in. I think I have pics somewhere. i think he took away from the show. Never really like Dennis.
