    Thank God I lived in London, ON (Canada) during the 2005 tour. Didn't realize how lucky I was. Well, I did, but I don't know how else to say it.

    Just looking over the list of times this song has been played. They have played it in North America EVERY year they have toured. Please guys, don't forget to play it before you leave the continent! Philly has been waiting 17.5 years! Bust it out on 10/27 and set the tone for the 4 shows!

    Is that just a gut feel? Everything I get a feeling that Philly is in for something special, we get the standard 2 night Camden greatest hits shows. I think the last time I didn't get my hopes up was Wachovia 2005. I'm actually one of the lucky few who have heard ATY once already! But bring on Oceans, No Way, Brother, and the entire new album!

    if you get Oceans, you are lucky as hell. I've been in this fan club for 15 years, I've been to over/around 45 shows, and I haven't gotten it. That song is like my white whale. Best of luck to you.

    Wow, I can't believe it can get worse! If they don't play it in Philly, I will be at 40 shows! I assume you won't be making the journey to Philly? The song is way overdue, It has been either soundchecked or on a setlist, according to another thread. Plus they always play the song in North America at least once on every tour. If they don't play it in Philly, 2009 will be the first time it wasn't played on tour in North America. Plus they have just been busting out song after song this tour.... Oceans is overdue!

    Any other songs eluding you after 45 shows? Other than Oceans, I have a couple "lost dogs" (Black Red Yellow, Fatal, Brother, Undone, Education) that i haven't heard, and a few real rarities off of Yield (No Way, Pilate, Push me Pull me). I would be a happy man if after Philly, I had heard all of backspacer, and the only songs left on my wishlist were: Black Red Yellow, Fatal, Undone, Education, Pilate, Push me Pull me. I think that is truly possible given the set lists they have been playing.

    Hopefully one week from now, we will all be waking up from an amazing show in Philly, and saying "I can't believe they finally played Oceans in Philly!"

    Ironically enough, it's been played more often since the early 90s. Breaking the 90s into early (90,91,92), Mid (93,94,95,96), and late (97,98,99). So they have played it 34 times since 1993, out of 66 total times. Granted the probability of hearing it in the early 90s was much higher!

    My vote is for Brother and No Way, but of course Oceans is a great opener. I think i've seen them do it 3 times

    I'm with you! They are my top 3 songs too! How many shows have you been to that you have caught Oceans that many times? I'd be happy with just once!
