With 4 shows, it's time to bring it back! This song has got to open at least one of the shows, unless of course PJ plans on ripping through all their albums in order!

I hadnt thought about this... but with 4 shows... YOu might be on to something... the way BRUCE has decided to do full albums on this past tour at certain shows... I wouldnt be surprised if PJ has something really BIZARRE planned Setlist wise for the 4 Philly shows.... Hmmmm...

Pennsylvania has been devoid of Oceans for 17 years. It is never played anywhere near PA.

Agreed! Def. too much WASH in the Philly area. We also get severed hand a lot. I hope they play Oceans on the Night 1 in Philly. I will enjoy every other opener that much more on nights 2-4.
Check out the "Open with Oceans" flyer I made, we need to flood the arena with signs for the first 3 nights if necessary, until they get the hint!

It's hard to Imagine that this song is not played more. Only 66 times out of how many shows ever? I am hoping they don't waste it in England today or tomorrow. I don't want to be greedy, but I'd love to hear it in Toronto as well as Philly. If they play it tonight or tomorrow, there is no chance they play it in Toronto. I hope they get "wash" out of their system before they come stateside!

ya thats crazy... guess im luck 26 shows and ive seen EVERYTHING atleast 1x except DIRTY FRANK... and the ITS OK TAG ( which i am DYING for)
i cant think of anything else that would be somewhat realistic that they could play that i havent heard... obviously not counting backspacer stuff...

Ironically enough, I heard Dirty Frank and It's OK in the SAME SHOW at the gorge! I got my SECOND crown of thorns that night too! What a show!

Yep, got it that night too. Was my 31st show and getting it in the middle of Canada was a nice surprise.

Ed tries to start “Elderly Woman…” and is interrupted by a “Let Stone Sing!!” chant from the floor. Enough so that Ed walks to the front of the stage to listen, and Matt gets a beat going in time with the chant, then Ed doing the chant on the mic. Ed first says “NO! he will never sing … he shan’t never sing”, laughing and looking at Stone, who is pretending to be busy with his guitar. Ed says “you make it sound like someone is not letting Stone sing. Stone Gossard can sing any song, at any time, on any stage”. Then Stone walks to Ed’s mic and says “what I really want to do is dance”, which gets Ed and Matt starting an improv jam, with Jeff and Mike quickly joining in. The spotlight shines on Stone, and he starts dancing, goofing around shaking his ass – continuing it for a good amount of time! – the crowd loving it, the band cracking up.

That was definitely one of the best shows ever; totally underrated.
I'll be seeing ya in Philly (shows 2-4), along with P&E (she'll be at all 4).
Oceans, Of the Girl, Long Road... all great openers.
