I would guess around 9-10am on WMMR -- the morning show.

There actually were quite a few shows in 2003 where S-K joined PJ during the encore and did those 3 songs. I have a complete set of the 2003 Boots, and I heard all of them. It was like Ed doing a duet with a circular saw cutting through a sheet of plywood. However, at Holmdel, Hunger Strike was pure beauty and genious. Hunger Strike was well suited for Corrin. Not those other songs, though.

    I am listeing to WMMR.

They alluded to the annunncement to take place monday and the Dj said they werent supposed to talk about it. The DJ was then asked what he had for breakfast and replied "bagel" and then was asked what he put on it. He laughed. (Jam was the unsaid answer). He was then asked what he got his Gma for her birthday and he said Pearls !!!

I have no sound on my work computer and I live in Massachusetts so I can't here WMMR on the radio so I guess I'll just keep checking this message board all day on Monday.

The rumor is that Bruce Springsteen will be in New York on Thursday night and he might or I asume he is to attend Pearl Jam's last show to close the Spectrum on Friday night...There has been much rumor of a Saturday Night show, but security has not been contracted to set up for anything for 10-31 at the Spectrum as of yet...

Yes, he is at the House of Blues in Cleveland on November 3 and he's playing the Ryman on the 30th and somewhere in Indiana on the 31st.

  • Tre-men-dous. This is the best thing I've heard all day. I got the shaft on 10C tix, got the even bigger dickin' on Comcast.com...I just hope the ticket gods are with me on a 10/31 show.

And PS - I'm all for the Sleater-Kinney reunion too...
  • My educated guess is that the announcement will be that there will be shows on the 27th and 31st with tickets on sale next Friday
If I knew where it was I would take you there, there's much more than this!

I'm just shocked that people still listen to FM radio. I haven't listened to WMMR in years. Is Eagle 106.1 still on in philly?

And I'd rather hear Last Kiss than SK...both are horrendous

SK's cover of Springsteen's Promised Land from the Borgata in '05 was beyond awesome...

    ?

I'm in Central NJ so I get both NY and Philly FM stations...MMR and 104.5 are very good stations, especially when compared to NY's rock radio. MMR's Matt Cord is a real PJ fan (he's probably on these boards) and Pierre Robert is a good fan too. Pierre was hangin out with fans to meet Eddie after the solo shows this June. I also remember Pierre hosting a pre-release party for Riot Act in the Northeast.

I'm afraid to say that Modern Girl by SK is better than the MG tag.

As for the announcement on Monday it has to be the halloween show and maybe the Tuesday show. I know I will try for Halloween but can't do Tuesday night.

What people don't realize is that this announcement will not only be for the 10/31 show; but it will also be for the 10/27 show that people one this board were mocking not long ago.
