  • Nothing! Ever.

Every couple of years I hack it shorter with scissors. It looks great, and every time I cut it people compliment me on how nice it is.

Twice (in the late nineties and early noughties) I grew it extra long to donate to Locks Of Love. Turns out they throw away most adult hair because it is extremely inferior to child hair. Ah well.

I do a lot of the same girl... I'm very attached to my long hair. Just a trim here and there.
I donated to Locks of Love once and I cried when I did it.

I've cut my own hair for about 3 years.
My husband did this for a long time until I finally convinced him that it looked he was cutting his own hair.  ;)

Well I'm female ;) ... with long hair so it takes me about 60 seconds once every couple of months
Oops, sorry. That makes sense. ;)

But my husband's hair didn't look very good when he cut it himself.
