Interestingly, Blue Moon, which is brewed in Toronto and exported to the US is not sold in Canada ... AS BLUE MOON. It was recently introduced to the Canadian market under a different name for branding purposes (they thought it would sell better with a big well known Canadian beer name attached to it). So, if you want a Blue Moon when you are in Toronto, you can have one, you'll just have to ask for a RICKARD'S WHITE. It is the exact same beer produced by the exact same company ...1996: Toronto 1998: Barrie 2000: Saratoga Springs 2003: Buffalo, Toronto 2005: Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto 2006: Toronto x2, Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Gorge #1 2007: London, Dusseldorf, Vic, Lolla 2008: WPB, Tampa, DC, MSG x2, Hartford, Boston x2, Beacon 2009: Toronto, Chicago x2, Seattle x2, LA #3&4, San Diego, Philly x4 2010: Cleveland, Buffalo, Hartford 2011: Montreal, Toronto x2, Hamilton 2012: Missoula 2013: London, Wrigley, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Hartford, Dallas, OKC0 -

For a while I would bring back a 24 of Blue Moon every time I went to the US. Nothing like paying import prices ($40US) in a foreign country for a case of beer that is exported from your own backyard...1996: Toronto 1998: Barrie 2000: Saratoga Springs 2003: Buffalo, Toronto 2005: Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto 2006: Toronto x2, Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Gorge #1 2007: London, Dusseldorf, Vic, Lolla 2008: WPB, Tampa, DC, MSG x2, Hartford, Boston x2, Beacon 2009: Toronto, Chicago x2, Seattle x2, LA #3&4, San Diego, Philly x4 2010: Cleveland, Buffalo, Hartford 2011: Montreal, Toronto x2, Hamilton 2012: Missoula 2013: London, Wrigley, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Hartford, Dallas, OKC0 -

It's been my white beer of choice in the States for a while. It's been about two years since I've had one though and now I know that I never suspected they were the same bc I find that a lot of (but not all of) white beers taste very simillar.
Thanks for the enlightenment!Post edited by DB41 on0 -
I'd rather have Ted Leo than Ben Harper.
They just need to allow Ted Leo to make sure his sound is good. He's meant for smaller clubs so, and I'll admit, his sound got lost in the vastness of MSG ... but know this, Ted Leo ROCKS!
Bad Religion is a sweet opener too.
Everyone ... be happy ... PJ shows soon."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

I was kinda hoping last year that the Ted Leo was a once in a lifetime deal. Will two openers cut the PJ Set short? :(0

caught him at the '08 shows. he simply isn't able to translate his material well into a successful live show in an arena/amphitheater setting,...To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."
