DonJon mentioned a 6.30am flight on Saturday....the day after Auckland gig -- FUCK THAT! 4.40ish or whenever will be much better!

It's getting exciting again now we're booking flights etc!

yep well done - we are all thinking alike

and zig, the 4:40 sounds the best because we dont have to worry about rushing on the sat morn - no doubt we'll have a big night after the friday show. we can just take our time, go to the airport and have everything sorted by the sunday show.

Been looking on Webjet and Emirates fly from Christchurch to Sydney everyday at 5pm for $119.

Going From Sydney to Auckland the best is pacific blue at $149 but Virgin has a "Happy Hour" everyday ay 12pm till 1pm with specials to different destinations each day. Might just leave it for bit and see what comes up.

I'd forgotten about that!!! At least I've got the 1st inaurgal Blues Festival in downtown Windsor to go to in October. And Diesel is at the local on the 30th. Not Pearl Jam but it'll sooth the beast until the party comes to town.

ive been keeping that emirates one back into aus in mind - but i cant book my flight out until early sept. im just not going to risk it. worse case secnario is i hit nz that friday night - but if that happens im just going to have to rely on someone to save me a spot in the pit. (and that rob leaves his spot and gets me thru the gate in the first place ... or else leaves a msg with the 10c tkt line that number xxx is on her way ) or i fly over thurs nite and sit an exam on the friday ...... fucking options

but its not going to pan out that way anyway ..... im thinking happy thoughts

Re Syd - Perth!! There are happy hour flights at the mo for 159 with VB at lunchtime on the Thurs...get over a couple of days earlier. Same on the friday 13th. OzJammer??
