Question for you all

Who prefers standing to seats at a venue like sbe? I've never sat at pj before and been front row a few times, but sbe looks very interesting from the balcony. Taking in the show from a close distance and not jostling for position? Then do all that at the 02 and Manchester!!!!

I'm just throwing thoughts out, as an extremely kind member on here has hooked me up with a ticket for the gig. I have never been in a seat for PJ but now I have seen the pictures of this venue, it looks to be quite a view, and especially if the floor is flat this view might be the perfect way to see the show.

Dont get me wrong, I'm a big fan of standing, i was just seeing what people thought....

I wouldn't be whinging about whether I had seated or GA at this gig. I'd just wanna be in the place. Anywhere.

I really would have to stand at PJ shows when I can.

Although, for MSG last year, I had seating tickets (obviously!) and I thoroughly enjoyed having a few drinks and relaxing, then just walking into my reserved spot 3minutes before the band came on! It was nice to see the audience interaction too. Everyone was standing and dancing in front of their chairs, not the same as seating here where yer beaten with a stick if you stand up!

A bit of both, I reckon!

  • I could only get seating for Kings of Leon at the O2 last month - pretty much everyone stood up for that! Glad I'm standing for PJ there though

Sitting down, everytime. I get a bad back if I standup too long! But I'm still looking forward to the SBE show, standing or sitting.

Usually I go standing, but if I've seen a band several times it's nice to shake it up a bit and watch from a different angle. Looking forward to sitting at SBE, been front row for a few big bands playing small club gigs before, and to be honest front row of the pit feels like front row of an arena. Sometimes it's better to stand back a bit so you can appreciate the setting. Will be good to be able to sing along without having elbows in my neck.

On the other hand, with unreserved seating I'll still queue from dead early, so there will still be jostling. I'm determined to be front row of level 3!!!!!
