I was lucky enough to get a second chance to score tickets to the first show at Terminal 5. Anyone else going to any of the final shows? I'm really excited for it. Trent promises a longer, more intimate show with some surprise guests. Can't wait.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.

I'll be there the night after you!

I've seen NIN only once- in 2006- and they were phenomenal. I almost went this summer but I'm sick of Jane's Addiction and I didn't want to see NIN when it was still light out, with shorter sets.

wow yours was $20 extra? i only had to pay $11. that's actually ridiculous man. and to think i thought 11 was bad. rolling stone actually had a great chart in one of their recent issues about where does the money go to and it outlined all of the extra fees and stuff. from an average priced $60 ticket, ticketbastard alone makes about $4.50 in profit.

  • I was tempted to try for terminal 5 but that's kind of a sub par venue imo. I've been there once and it's pretty big and the sound isn't great. And I figure for NIN I would have to get there super early to get close otherwise I'd be stuck in the back and it would be just a bit lame. Idk I might try when the tickets have the public sale but I couldn't pull the trigger during the TM presale. I'm kinda strapped for cash atm.

Going to the Hollywood Palladium & The Wiltern. We had pit tickets for the NINJA Tour, but missed some of the NIN set, so I am glad there is another chance to wave goodbye!

If you still want to go to any of them, you better watch twitter. Yesterday they gave away a couple pairs of tickets via twitter - they'd twitter a location for leo hererra, and first person to go there and go up to him got them! I bet they'll do it again for the other shows. See some of you in NYC Tues/Wed!

    OUT OF THIS WORLD

The thing is, they played "The Downward Spiral" in its entirety, start to finish. How the hell do you top that? Trent said something like "I always wanted to play that whole record. That's the only time we're going to do it." I couldn't believe my ears when I realized it once Closer hit.

    Setlist:

    1. "Mr. Self Destruct"
    2. "Piggy"
    3. "Heresy"
    4. "March of the Pigs"
    5. "Closer"
    6. "Ruiner"
    7. "The Becoming"
    8. "I Do Not Want This"
    9. "Big Man with a Gun"
    10. "A Warm Place"
    11. "Eraser"
    12. "Reptile"
    13. "The Downward Spiral"
    14. "Hurt"
    15. 1,000,000
    16. Terrible Lie
    17. Metal
    18. Lights In the Sky
    19. Burn
    20. Gave Up
    21. Suck
    22. Physical

  • last night was apparantly the longest show they've ever played - 29 songs, 2 1/2 hours long. the venue is insanly fucking hot. got a spot on the second balcony, stage left. decent view. i'll post some links to my videos once i get them on youtube. if youre one of those guys that dont like people who record/take pictures during the show, let me know so i can just pm the ones who are interested :D . and they were filming again last night. theres also an hd source of the webster hall show floating around that i will get my hands on soon.

i cant believe people think that these will be the "final NIN shows".

trent said they will not tour in the "forseeable future"

you know they will tour again, my guess is give him less than 5 years.

    i could be wrong though.

tuesday's show was insane! despite that the venue was hotter than hell, as people were passing out left and right, and security guards were even throwing open bottles of water into the audience, the show was amazing. just so much intensity. unbelievable.
