IMPORTANT: FOR THISE WITH ANY KIND OF A TICKET TO THIS SHOW - HELP A BROTHER OUT AND GET SOME MORE AT THE GENERAL SALE

By the look of the amount of people asking around in the pit, 10C members could snap up all of the spare SBE tickets...... given the chance. We all know that scalpers with eBay in mind will be on that auction in the morning. The only way we can get more 10C members into SBE paying FACE VALUE for the tickets - instead of being ripped off by these lowlives - is by getting as many of those general sale tickets as possible into 10C members' hands.

I won tickets yesterday evening but I'll be getting online tomorrow for this pre-sale to try and get some tix. If i get them, they will be put in the lottery at this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=104486

PLEASE... if you have tickets, let's help out those members here who didn't share our luck yesterday and try to get more in the sale tomorrow morning, so that the real fans of the band can get in.

Here is the link: http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region ... id=emplist

HMV, ticketmaster, shepherd's bush box office and o2 website should also have sales.

If you are worried about paying and them being repaid, please don't. You know that this community is made of exceptional people. If you are thinking, I've got mine so why bother? Imagine how good you'd feel if someone got you in that door. I'll post this on another thread but please can everyone who has tickets try for those who don't. What goes around comes around.

Cheers for this, much appreciated - if by any chance me and my mate both end up with a pair tomorrow I'll be putting any spares up on here.

Just one question, how did you come to the conclusion that HMV sold 1000 tickets yesterday? That seems like an awful lot - from the comments on here it doesn't seem like that many people got them (I know some of them might not be members here), and there aren't that many up on ebay, seatwave etc.

I worked there for some years. BTW, I know they messed up here, but they are generally good, good people at HMV. It's a record store really run by music fans and I know even the top managers will be gutted to think that 10c members have been done by scalpers and that they messed up the pre-sale.

Also, I figure the venue holds about 2500:
    1000 through HMV
    500 to 10C
    1000 general sale.

    Fantastic idea.

If I don't get lucky in the general sale tomorrow it'' be only a matter of time before my love of PJ overcomes my hate of touts and I'm forced to pay a stupid price.

i think many of us will do this, the spike on ebay tomorrow will be insane, i really think it'll make yesterdays prices seen cheap.

as soon as the general sale is done well then it will go nuts

O2 have an allocation too though, I wouldn't be surprised if HMV's allocation was about half that amount. It just seems strange that there aren't that many people on this board who got them through the pre-sale. You would think that the people who pre-ordered the album were probably hardcore fans who are probably 10c members too. Of course there's no way of knowing for sure - in truth I'm just trying to remain optimistic that there are loads of tickets left for tomorrow :D

I don't know how you guys think 10c sold 500 Tickets? That would be more 10c Tickets then they sold for each gig 2006 in Europe. I'm pretty sure the real number is something between 50-100 Tickets.
    2006:Arnhem,Bern,Berlin
    2007:München,Düsseldorf,Nijmegen

    I was only guessing really!
If you think it is less, you are probably right.
Shame, though. Seems like it should have been more.

I think your figures are way off.
    - for a start, if 10c had 500, then WAY more fans I know would have won.. that'd be 250 pairs but so far only 2 have showed themselves (out of at least 30+ 10c members I know in UK/Ireland)... there isn't that many members in the UK to make it statistically possible.
Considering they supposedly had 50 pairs for the Astoria (I'm not even convinced there was that many), I'd say 200 tickets top, probably only 100 again.
    - the venue is 2000, and there's no way half the tickets are allocated to a presale. I'd think maybe HMV had 500 AT MOST..probably way less than that.

I sure hope it is that way because otherwise my last hope at getting tickets is pretty much nil.

Okay, I was wrong but the figures are of little or no relevance to the main content of the post.
I'll delete them from the original and let's just move on and try to help some people out.

I usually fall on the side of pessimism, but in this instance I've decided I like your maths the best and I'm going to put my faith in your calculations :)

Mind you, even if there are 1,500 tickets up for grabs tomorrow they're still going to be almost impossible to catch. See, there I go again :(

well, I always intended anyway on getting my hands on as many tickets as possible, and out of the touts's, through all 3 sales.
Like I generally get extra tickets to probable in demand gigs I go to (non PJ one), and then pass them on to friends, or Scarletmist if no friends want them.

right now though, getting my hand on the 1 ticket will be the main challenge.

  • I'm gonna bump this thread just to remind anyone who is lucky enough to have tickets to SBE that the general sale is tomorrow morning. Most of you have to work while we were discussing this earlier!

Please go to the general sale tomorrow and try to get tickets and please look up Ames' thread where you can find a list of people looking for spares.

    This such a good idea.

This is my Mum's account (she is 61 and the biggest pearl jam fan I know) and I do all of the buying of tickets for her through tenclub as she is not very PC savvy. I am also a huge fan and did have an account here but since it went tenclub members only I can't post anymore.

I know enough people have asked already, but if anyone manages to get two extra tickets then my Mum and I would be forever grateful. She would probably pass out if I told her I had haha.

What agencies will have tickets tomorrow:
    O2,
    ticketweb
    hmv (maybe)

any others that people know of?

3rd time lucky tomorrow morning, it's lucky that I am a good son and will have taken 2 mornings off work this week for her (us) hahaha

I'm jumping in really late here but I worked in the music industry for quite a few years and the other thing peeps don't realise is just how many tickets are allocated as freebies / guest passes to industry personnel - it's quite a lot...!
