I had such a killer day yesterday. It never ceases to amaze me what a wonderful, kind, and generous group of fans there are supporting PJ and The Wishlist Foundation. I met so many new friends and look forward to meeting so many more today.
Time to get ready for set up at TS McHugh's shortly. I hope to see all of you down there again today!!!
you guys all did a fantastic job yesterday. The crowd was so huge, but you guys kept it organized (at least to the casual observer such as myself). What a really great time.
We're back home, but everyone...HAVE A BLAST TONIGHT!!0 -
WICKED pre parties guys.
i cant believe we broke the record on night one for most raised ever in a single night!! CONGRATS to all of us.
met some cool people and two jackasses! ahhaha.
whats the story? here it is:
Picture It: Bathroom, Night One Preparty. A guy was in a stall and the other guy was using the urinal beside the stall. the guy in the stall pissed all over his the other guys feet. They were buddies. he did this on purpose because he was wearing sandal with no socks. So his feet were soaked in urine. The guy at the urinal grabbed some paper towel, wiped off the piss from his feet and the floor, waited for his buddy to come out of the urinal and proceed to sneak attack him and stuff the paper towel into his mouth. nasty, nasty but quite entertaining.Van '98, Sea I+II '00, Sea '01, Sea II '02, Van '03, Gorge, Van, Cal, Edm '05, Bos I+II, Phi I+II, DC, SF II+III, Port, Gorge I+II '06, DC, NY I+II '08, Sea I+II, Van, Ridge , LA III+IV' 09, Indy '10, Cal, Van '11, Lond, Van, Sea '13, Memphis '14, RRHOF '17, Sea I+II '18, Van I+II, Vegas I+II, Sea I+II '240 -

Thanks for the wonderful hospitality all! Good to catch a few tunes outside from Justin, great to meet new friends, tops to see old ones. Seattle has really laid out the welcome mat for us out-of-towners, not one negative experience to speak of.
Saturday night @ Easy Street, Sunday @ the Mariners-Yankees game and Pike Brewery, Monday party and show, Tuesday burgers, party and show, Wednesday on Alki beach, chowder and Meat Puppets @ Queen Anne Easy Street...
Can't wait till AIC @ the Moore tonight. Then it's on to the touring van for more Vancouver goodness. See yas at the next stop!115 bucks for half a haircut by a novice? I want my money back!0 -

on behalf of my friend who came w/me to seattle, thanks for the flight to mars tshirt. he won it in the raffle. very well organized party. did not have a single beer, because i wanted to experience the shows fully aware of where i was. je je je. had a blast eating my burgers outside dick's after the second show, had a few laughs with some canadian/german/guatemalan/american style.
to the people in the car that pulled over a while outside dick's and yelled out funny stuff, if you are still in seattle or not> >> enjoy eating them sometime as well!
so did anyone here won the guatemalan bags we gave for the raffle? when i was waiting in line to buy a tshirt at key arena, i saw a dude wearing one, but i missed him later on. I hope the winners liked them and the tshirts fit fine for them.IN THE DARK, ALL CATS ARE BLACK.0 -

yes.....my friends and me randomly got huge packs of coke zero after the show. We walked through the streets with them and encountered a weird guy who said that coke zero causes AIDS.....You can spend your time alone, re-digesting past regrets,

Thanks to all who organised the parties for a great time. Unfortunately, couldn't make it to the first pre-party, but the second one was fantastic."What the CANUCK happened?!? - Esquimalt Barber Shop0

hey nastasja! You, my friends, are more than welcome to come. You would not have to worry about hotels or hostels or street benches! I hope that pj comes sometime and then all of you would have to fly down to guatemala. Oh brother! Imagine our tenclub seats!!! We don't have coke zero, though. But we have tons of rum! ha ha ha.IN THE DARK, ALL CATS ARE BLACK.0 -
I always have a difficult time processing the pre-party experience and trying to convey them in writing, but I can't go without mentioning what an honor it is to be included in the Pearl Jam fan community.
Wanted to write something witty & touching, but it's just not going to happen because I'm incapable/overwhelmed. Witnessing the kindness and generosity in Chicago and Seattle... over $20,000 raised by fans in 4 days alone... just blows my mind. I guess I had doubted Chi would raise over 10k and never thought Seattle would raise even more than that - but ya did. Astounding. Seriously... I still can't believe it.
Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers we had in Sea... Lisa, Ryan, Sam, Janet, Brad, Liz, Eric, Kim, Carin, Jimmy, Scott, Bryon, Hubby and everyone else I forgot and who stepped in to help. You guys rocked it.
Love to you all...xoxoxoxo0
