Petition to Close the MT`

George W is gone. All that's left are haters, extremists, anti-semites and freaks. Do we really need this anymore? Can we get back to music and the good life and kill the negativity thread? Im sure there's another home for all the malcontents. Join me in leaving the MT. Close it down!

Since when did the 1st Amendment have application to a private website? Listen, try to insult me all you want but at least have some working knowledge of Government 1 before throwing around the 1st amendment. It doesnt apply here. I can speak really slowly and explain it to you if you'd like. Here it goes. The 1st amendment only applies to the government. Get it now? If you were in my house and you said something I didnt like could I legally throw you out??? tick tock tick tock. Yes! This is why we need the MT closed. Musical ignorance isn't as offensive as political and historical ignorance. IMHO. Im just saying. It makes the band look bad. And I do love the band. You guys need a new sand box. Ive been here alot longer than you junior. In the old days, before all this political bullshit these boards were about the great band, their fantastic albums and shared musical interests. Ive been here since 92. I come back hoping for some change and hoping the board itself gets away from the negativity and embraces the music again. Thats why. Not that I owe you an explanation. if you paid any lick of attention the the music of this band you will know that they have ALWAYS been political. yes, even back in 92....their politics and their music are intertwined and are one in the same. if you want to talk about the music, there is a whole section of this board for that. its called the porch. i suggest you spend some time there if you want to avoid negativity, confrontation, and people with opinions different than your own. i thought maturity comes with age, apparently not in your case.

if you want the train shut down, how about not coming around it? the solution is simple enough in my eyes.
