hey, hey..

LONG time fan of the band here. and a LONG time reader of this board. just wanted to drop in and say hello. i first got into them when i was in 8th grade many, many moons ago.

i figured that now was as good a time as any to sign up. and then i went to sign up, and it turns out that i already registered back in 2006! (hence the screen name...)

anyway, i'm looking forward to chatting with fellow jammers. there aren't too many of us here in Waco (just moved from Houston) and i enjoy the looks i get when i wear my shirts or listen to "black, red, yellow" on full blast while driving around. heehee

in any case, hello. and it's nice to meet you.

    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    thanks for the nice welcome! as far as my favorite record goes, it would have to be no code..with yield right behind.

    we just had some crazy winds here during the hurricane. but a lot of our friends (my wife & i) are still without power down in houston. we were going to go down there last weekend, but decided to wait until after ACL to head down.

    We were lucky. We moved to Waco about 2 months ago. A lot of our friends & family are still down there, though. They said it's a mess..many still w/o power & the curfew is still in tact, I think.

    A buddy of mine told me that he was around my old part of town & it was a wreck. So sad...
