I'm also here to get some help to decide about the gig on 11th. I'm glad to see others are agonising over the practicalities and sanity. It's such a big deal for me to come down and find my way around on my own, meet up with a fellow fan I've never met before for my hopefully spare ticket, if I won, and get back home to anxious and uninterested hubby left home with the sick dog.

I've met so many of you guys at the Party at Waxys for the Wembley gig but I've been shy of hanging around and now I wish I knew you all better so I can let my hair down and not feel like the oldest squarest rocker in town.

So I guess I'm saying if you do it, (put yourself in a difficult situation for the love of PJ) then I will.

See you all at Manchester and O2 in any case.

Well, it could all be academic anyow. I was in at 5pm (actually, the link went live about 4:58) went through everything, clicked "Submit" and.... "Error"!!!! No confirmation page!

Tried again, and "We cannot update your cart as you may only purchase one pair of tickets"

I've gotten no confirmation of anything. Don't know if I'm in or out.

    Emailed 10C, no response (yet...)

I think I'll take it as karma. Whichever way it goes, I'll assume was the best option.
Which is exactly what someone like me, who can't make a decision to save their life, needs

EDIT: Glitch sorted, I got my name in the hat.

DO IT! It has to be done - and would earn you kudos beyond your wildest dreams!

I flew from Sydney to Chicago for Lollapalooza in 07, landed on the Thursday afternoon, checked in to my hotel then headed straight to The Vic. I didn't have a ticket but thanks to a truly awesome South African who I'd never met before I got a ticket and had one of the best nights of my life.

ALWAYS think positive thoughts - there's nothing that can't be done!

I think that maybe you are out of your mind, but ask yourself this:

If you go for it, and you make it, how good will it feel? :D

If you go for it, and you get there too late, at least you know you dared to dream, 8-)

    but,

If you don't go for it, when will you stop thinking what if I had just threw caution to the wind? :?

Gotta say, if it was me I would have a family emergency or a 24 hour bug that meant I had to go home after lunch, cos it isn't fair on my collegues to spread it around!!!

If you decide to do it, hope you make it smooth.
