I have seen enough Cartoon finger painting for one tour..

no wait, its a tree with a bird in it.. again?

Brad Klausen is the Van Gough of our time!

His stuff is EPIC! Just EPIC!

Rob Jones > Jeff Wood > Klausen

For the poster folks, am I the only one that doesn't necessarily get the enormous love fest for Rob Jones?

I like some of his stuff, some of it is great, but he's got a lot of clunkers in those White Stripes and Raconteurs sets, for sure.

I like Jeff Wood's style a lot ... he just does a lot of prints for bands I jsut don't like unfortunately.

Would love to see some more Gary Houston PJ prints ... probably one of the more underated gig poster artists out there.

Maybe try out some of the newer folks, give Christopher Lands a shot. Love the stuff he's been putting out.

Don't get it at all. I hate more of Rob Jones' work than I like.

I think Brad is the right guy for PJ. His style just fits and I'm not saying this out of bias because there are several other artists that I like more, I just don't think they'd fit PJ's style.

I think Rob Jones work can be hit or miss, but that is the same for a lot of artists. I can say the same about EMEK or BK, or Ames. Everyones taste is different. I think it will be the usuall BK/Ames split for the shows.

I'd love to see PJ mix it up with the posters. Yes, both Klausen and Ames are decent producers, but I'd love to see someone else get a shot....I was thrilled by the fact Oz got a whole differrent set of artists for their tour (Cooper, Whyte, and Taylor)

It would be nice if Ames Bros used the artists who did most of the 1998 posters.

Danger does do some great stuff.

However I would predict some more Ames, sure 1/2 of their work in 06 wasn't the greatest, but they had a few gems.

And as for Klausen sure he had more gems then ames, but 1/2 of his work wasn't the best either.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

I agree. For every Rob Jones print that I love, there are 3 that I hate.

Personally, I would love to see Daniel Danger do PJ prints. I know that won't happen, but I can still dream :)

Yea, I love Danger too, but he's one of those artists I was talking about. Does great work, but totally doesn't fit with PJ's style at all.

In the same sense, I'd love to see Dan McCarthy, or AJ Mathsay do some prints, but they just wouldn't fit.

I hate to say it, but I think Emek's style would fit pretty well with PJ, and again, Emek is not even close to one of my favorite artists, but what he does would just fit with a PJ vibe in my opinion.

Jeff Wood or Justin Hampton could also probably do some pretty cool PJ prints.

although the result for Oz was a mix bag, I'd rather they mixed more.

I would love it if Klausen did most of the shows this tour, but I would also love if Ames redeemed themselves with a couple of gems

I think the only way we will know is if BK says something here, or Ames announces a subscription.

That would be insanely cool!!! There were some real nice pieces done by the fans, and I believe part of the rules stated once the art was submitted PJ owned it - so why not?

I'd definitely love to see these mixed in with Klausen & Ames :)
