For me, Borat hands down.

While Bruno is still funny, I watched most of Borat last night, and man it is still so Hilarious. Just the little things like the clock radio King of the castle, this suit is NOT black, feeding the guy cheese from is wife''s breast milk and I could go on all day.

What do you prefer Borat or Bruno

Both were great. I just saw Bruno the other day. It seems like Bruno was just so over the top. I mean unbelieveably. That can be a good thing too. I think what Sasha Baron Cohen is doing with Borat, Bruno and Ali G is maybe the new activism. I dont think protesting in the streets with signs does much anymore. Its so 1960's. What i do think people respond to is movies like Borat and Bruno which deal with important issues (gay rights, racism, how the media shapes our culture). Whats interesting is you dont see Cohen out there engaging in those issues. Like he wont be on the cover of Time saying "borat and Bruno are important tools people should use to fight issues like racism and to end homophobia", yet that is really what he is doing.

I think, the danger with that, the same goes with Stephen Colbert or any other parody/satire/social critique is that it has the danger of being misunderstood. I remember talking to people after seeing Borat and several felt it was a racist/sexist/homphobic movie. Which is odd to say the least, because I think Sasha would say the movie was created to provoke discussion on all those issues.

I mean, you cant get more out there than talking to and insulting a real terrorist, or making a move on Ron Paul.

Saw Bruno this past weekend.....some of it was funny, but I still like Borat better...he was more of a likeable character.

I had a lot of people tell me how great Borat was and I think I laughed a few times.

Just not my kind of funny I guess....

    And no, won't see Bruno.

I loved Borat, but Bruno failed on a lot of different levels for me. I thought some of it was hilarious but too often it seemed like he was trying waaaaay too hard and I actually felt bad for a lot of the people he toyed with.

Yeah, I've heard there are quite a few dick shots in Bruno. Not exactly looking forward to that part, but I"ll see it eventually.

To anyone guy who really has issue with the dick shots, are you telling me you've seriously never watched a porno? Guys have dicks, women have vaginas. Let's move on.

I don't have an issue with dick shots when there's a naked chick involved. I've just heard the ones in Bruno are a little much. Relax, dude.

I thought Bruno sucked. I laughed my ass off at Borat, and even saw it twice. I just spaced out during Bruno. Too over the top trying to be funny.

This is spot on to my conclusion as well.

I only just got around to seeing Bruno. It's hilarious.

The ending when he does the gay bit with his assistant at the cage fighting arena almost made me piss myself.

And that was the same mother that agreed to have her kid get liposuction if she couldn't make it lose 10 1b's in a week. :o

I also thought the part where he was with the tarot reader/clairvoyant was hilarious.

with all the other outrageous stuff in the movie, those parents were the most disturbing thing of all.

i loved both movies. and yeah the cage fight was awesome, how people were recoiling and crying
