Difference in 10c / store CD packaging?

Heya, just wondering if anyone knows the difference between the 10C available CD, and the ones that will be in the store.
In the UK HMV has a version listed as "Backspacer Deluxe Edition Special Packaging", and Play.com "Backspacer (Limited Edition Gatefold Sleeve)"

    The play and amazon ones will be the same.

    But tenclubs will be different, hence the description that its like the advocado tenclub release.

    That in itself is extremely exciting.

    I have The Avocado 10C edition, but I've never seen the "regular" edition, what's the difference?

    Though, being a 10C member, I'll always buy the 10C edition... even if I get them 2 months afters :S....

    the advocado is a hard book, the regular release is like a cardboard gatefold sleeve, like binaural i guess

    yeah I was gonna go for the pre-order 10c hardbound book version.....but I have a sneaking feeling that Target will have an exclusive version (perhaps with bonus stuff).....so I'm holding out.

    but then again all those pre-orders with 10c might get a bonus as well just like last time (Live in NYC bootleg cd with Avocado).....

    i've just sold me spare lung to the President of Angola so that i can buy ALLLLL the versions that are coming out!!!


    of course all of the versions have the same fucking songs on them so people might think i'm silly buying ALLLL the wacky versions.... but in these troubled financial times needs must.

    actually, to be clear...it says in the description 10c/indie....so i am going to guess that means 10c, indie record stores.....and then target will have different packaging. so THAt leaves me curious as to what the target packaging may be, and beyond their 'exclusive' arrangement, what - if anything, might else be included in that relationship.

    actually, i should've rephrased my question. i don't give a shit WHAT the difference in packaging may be...i am interested in any possible differences in content. as in, will the traget CD get extra bonus tracks or any such BS? THAT's what i truly want to know. i am not one for buying multiple copies of the same thing, and that would annoy me if the target CD got extra above the 10c/indie version....and yes, it would be nice to know prepurchase. eh well, whatever......i'll probably preorder the CD right before the 09.01 cutoff for free domestic shipping, and if there are any other extras, get them thru some other means.

    then I will wait to see if there are other versions (Japan, UK, Aus) with bonus tracks

    I dont think there were any bonus tracks with riot act and pearl jam

    Pretty sure we knew about it. I do like the book style packaging - what kills me is that it will take some extra time to make its way to the great white north and I'll end up buying it on the release day in a store here. Would love to see a digital download be included for anyone who preorders. Especially international orders.

    can someone please let me know about the INSIDE of the special hardcover book edition of Avocado?
    I know about what the disc looks like, and the outside, but don't know if the inside is vastly different than store bought version? Any different pix, cool artwork? or is it the same, but just in bound to the hardcover?

    I would have to look at both of my copies to be 100% but I think that as far as the images they are the same, the difference is that the gatefold sleeve comes with the booklet while the 10C version is bounded like a tiny little book, to the case I mean. Does that make sense?
