PJ would be a win-win situation.

The Super Bowl may not. If your team loses...

My beloved Liverpool FC were in the semi final of the European cup and I booked tix for the Black Keys which was the same night as the final, I have seen them on every tour to the UK and that night was the only chance I had to see them because of other commitments. As it happened, the best team lost and there was no problem. But I dont know what I would have done if the reds had got to the final. So I cant really answer the OP question other than to say just go with your heart over your head on this one.

    The Super Bowl.

As much as I love Pearl Jam, it's not even close.

The Super Bowl is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I don't think I'd pass it up for anything.

Here's hoping the Giants get back there this year.
May your days be long, til kingdom come.

    I'd take the PJ show.

The Pats have already won 3 in the past decade, so, I'm REALLY spoiled ... and, from all acounts, the Superbowl moves PAINFULLY slow if you're actually there.

Not that I'd pass up Superbowl tix if offered, I'd freakin' love to go, but, if I had to choose between the 2, the PJ show.

This is so hard to choose...but I'm going with Pearl Jam. With PJ you're guaranteed a great show and if my Giants lost I'd be so disappointed. Good question.

My super bowl was the Texas v. USC Rose Bowl and I wouldn't have missed it for even PJ. Still can't believe I was there!

    Hook 'Em
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
  • I would take the superbowl, no doubt.... Unless of course PJ decided to play at my house and then stayed and drank beers with me after the show..... Other than that I would take the Super Bowl. Now if the Cubs ever made it to the World Series (LOL) then there is not much that would keep me away, including a close relative's funeral or the birth of my child.

Pearl Jam or Gmen in the Superbowl....Gmen.

I am hoping a similar situation arises when the Yanks are in the World Series and Pearl Jam is playing the Spectrum. Yanks it is for me.

I'd have to say the Super Bowl. PJ plays AT LEAST once a year whereas the SB is played ONLY once a year. Regardless if the Pats are in it or not (which they will be in 09) I would pick the SB hands down.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

    5/17/10 Boston, 10/15/13 Worcester, 10/16/13 Worcester, 10/25/13 Hartford
    8/5/16 Fenway, 8/7/16 Fenway

I couldn't care less about the Super Bowl. Now if you make it tickets to the college football national championship game with the Buckeyes playing... I'll take that over PJ. Or Tigers world series baseball tickets.

That was a helluva game. I'm still crying over the Buckeyes blowing their lead over Texas in the last few minutes of play this past bowl season. :(

the superbowl is the most overrated game in the nfl. seriously who wants to go to a football and have to be in the stadium at 3pm and wait around for 5 hours and sit there watching shitty pop artists.

ahhh, but what if PJ were the halftime show?

When the Pats won in 2001, I got to admit, having U2 as the halftime show was pretty fucking fantastic ... indeed, it was a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!

DEFINITELY PJ. The Super Bowl just isn't one of those sports events I would like to attend. I'd prefer to watch it on TV. I'd sell SB tickets.

Concert...but that's me. Besides, when your at the game, you miss the commercials which is half of the show.
