Like many 10Clubbers, looking to pick up the Benaroya Vinyl without spending an arm and a leg; and, unfortunately, I missed out on winning an EBay auction by $5 bucks (still hurts).

    Damn! I am defending someone who is simply proposing an offer, to see if anyone is interested? Who are any of us to say that this is a bad trade, or imply it? All it could possibly do is make it less likely that anyone would do it. Kenyon Hall is a valuable Poster- $200+, both MSGs are also combined around $200, and Boston has spiked close to $100, making a total value around $500. This offer may be enough to make someone bite. Get off of LF's stick and simply READ what is written. However, I will credit you with being a loyal gangster and jumping in when your buddy is taking a lick. Good luck with that.

    You're right. What was I thinking of, defending someone politely expressing their opinion!! I do apologise, in future I will remember that opinions should not be expressed.

    And of course if someone was after the posters being offered and had a benaroya they were willing to let go, then someone's opinion will stop that trade happening.

    It's not always about value. I'm about to trade my Kenyon hall for a zippo and shirt, even if my other half thinks its a mad trade on my behalf :p!!

    WOW! Talk about angry, you sure know how to make friends, huh? Cant have a simple debate with out having to get nasty...excuse me...gangsta...I DID read was was written and responeded with what I felt was appropriate as I am sure LF did as well.(nice stick by the way, LF, never new you were so big! ;) ) No one said that the trade wasnt FAIR...maybe YOU should RE READ what was written. I simply stated that unless someone had an extra BH, that they might not be willing to part with it for posters...Did I say it was a bad deal? BH is a tough ticket, and I would be SURPRISED if anyone would do it for the offer on the table...Maybe someone will BITE as you so eloquently put it, but I think not! I hope someone does, but expressing an OPINION as to what I think will happen is not going to "ruin his deal, Wade!"....I am sure of one thing though...Pit TACT as you put it is something that is learned after you are here for a while and have seen the ins and outs and such.     Obviously, I would rather trade these posters for a BH Vinyl and thought it was a good deal with the following 6-month EB Averages:

    Hampton Special CCFA: $303
    Kenyon: $247
    MSG I: $129
    MSG II: $137
    Boston I 06: $97
    Total: $913

    this really isn't that bad of a trade. what's the benny vinyl going for these days? is it around a G? if so, this isn't too shabby. there are a few vinyl enthusiast that probably would never part with this record, but come on, i imagine there is a large population that still have this puppy sealed. leads me to think they are only treasuring it for its monetary value or as a PJ collectible. posters are also PJ collectibles, so nothing wrong swapping collectibles with collectibles and i imagine a few people would probably jump at this trade. whats the problem? finding someone that wants/needs every one of these posters you offered. i mentioned this before in another thread, money talks. EB averages total up to a benny. but you have to find a taker that wants all these posters. the only real rare poster you are giving up is the hampton one, which may be enough with the whole package to persuade someone to let that benny go. so try selling your posters somewhere and offer up cash. more difficult and tiresome, but may be your best bet.

    i understand fly's complaint though. too many people on here are swayed by public opinion. a few responses like the ones in this thread (even though they weren't offensive) would be enough to turn people away.

    its generous but most holders would only trade for the first 2 plus some 98s or rare 00/03 posters

    geez...everyone settle down...the guy was just curious...the benaroya vinyls have selling for a lot recently...i've seen some over 700...i don't think anyone would do that trade...but you never know...people need to take it easy...the guy was just asking...shit

    actually going for over $800 recently on ebay ...

    one on sale now .... currently in the $400 range. no, not mine, I own no vinyl ... but intesting to see the vinyl freaks are as crazy as us poster freaks ... :D

    best bet for the original poster, sell your posters, take your money and buy the vinyl ...
