My wife and I opened our ceremony with Rise and closed it with Hard Sun, both from the Into the Wild soundtrack. It was beautiful! Our honeymoon ended with seeing Ed solo in Boston. It was a show I'll never forget especially with an upgrade to the first row. In fact, our first year anniversary is tomorrow.

Came across this about a year or so ago. Getting married in september and we hired a guitarist who learned this exact version. My fiance will walk down the isle to this version of untilted. should be pretty cool
First off, that kat's (soymartino) version of untitled is THE SHIT!
Ok, so my wife isn't a PJ fan. It has made for some enjoyable conversations! But, when we got married, I played a quick little set at the rehersal dinner. Here you go.
1) Thow Your Arms Around Me
2) Can't Help Falling in Love
3) Harvest Moon
Thin Air I think is the best bet, I wouldn't play YL personally. Eddie SERIOUSLY mumbling, lyrics about they don't wave and boxes and bags? Forget it; its an amazing closer for a rock show, not a wedding.
Well, we only closed the reception with it as a tribute to my little sister. It was her favorite PJ song.
there's a part here that I do not think is appropriate for a wedding:
Theres a light, when my babys in my arms.
Theres a light, when the window shades are drawn. Hesitate when I feel I may do harm to her. Wash it off cause this feeling we can share.
And I know shes reached my heart in thin air.
otherwise I love the song...
and I love Porch, but what do you do about the F bomb in the first line?
do you guys play Porch when you are walking down the aisle?

At first, that part stuck out for me too as being inappropriate... but then I thought about it a little more... I mean, "I don't want to hurt you" doesn't seem that inapporpriate to me.
