Beyond my wildest expectations....no need to spend any dough on traveling, and the shows are not on consecutive nights!

    I'm not in LA and won't be able to travel, but that sounds fantastic. Went to see Wilco in a ~7,000 capacity venue in DC area last night and thought about how amazing it would be to see PJ there. It will be great for everyone who gets to attend.

    me and the lady are thinking about where to go ... all those LA dates are mid week, but I like the small venue idea ... San Diego is at least a Friday.

    thanks roger...i've been waiting for this for almost 3 years....although why there going from la to austin and back to la is weird....they should have done some shows out south

    Gibson Amphitheatre has great acoustics, too!

    Gonna be a fun week...hopefully my 197xxx gets me a little closer than the 06 Forum shows since this is a much smaller venue!

    Viejas is formerly Cox Arena on the SDSU campus. They played there in 06. It's used for their basketball team (among other things), but it's not as large as an NBA arena. Probably closer to 10,000 capacity.

    I think the plan will be the last LA show and SD ...

    They've left open the weekend of Oct 24/25 ... which might/probably means a Bridge School Benefit, something the 10c would not announce

    That is what I am hoping for, although it won't benefit me any as I will be at a wedding in Minnesota.
