would the even sell beer at a jonas bros show?

I assume yes, with a venue's sponsorship ... but, you never know.

I wonder how many people at a PJ show do what you're doing right now....

How old is your niece? Old enough to know that you're being disrespectful?

You're going to need something stronger than beer to survive that.

are you kiddin'? The guy is joking man, He obviously cares enough for his niece that he took that time to take her to a concert she likes in the middle of the week.

It's ok... Coveredinbliss is clearly the JoBro's mom..... Didn't mean any disrespect, ma'am! : )
  • Time for my 1st post.

Went to the Jonas Bros last week- took my daughter (she's 8). Acted like it was the greatest show ever- it was kinda funny to be honest! Worth three times the amount of money I paid just to see her face and sing and clap!

Then took my son (11) to Green day- now that show was outstanding! Seriously... big time (I'm not that huge a fan... expected something decent... but they far exceeded my expectations and were awesome).

There are some outstanding tours right now- saw Dave Matthews in Vegas (going again to the Gorge). Going to U2 in Vancouver in October.

But... like all you people... I have been faithfully checking in to the site for show updates. Contemplated Toronto. Still thinking about Calgary. Want Vancouver like a desperate, desperate man. I think we'll get them. I hope their new album is sweet.

For the record, 'Jeremy' is an outstanding tune. All you self proclaimed Pearl Jam gold medal fans who think the recordings of their farts are far superior than any 'mainstream' Pearl Jam need to lighten up just a touch- but not too much! Ten really did it for me when I was going to university. I would argue for that album over any other Pearl Jam album till late, late in the evening over beers... in fact... I think I have.

Good luck with your tickets people.

You are to be praised for taking one on the chin to put a smile on a child. I was forced to sit through 3/4 of a U2 show a few years back as my wife is a fan of theirs....... Thankfully it was so awful that she permitted us to leave well before the end of the show, but the battle scars remain to this day.

I've also sat through "Thomas The Tank Engine LIVE!" for my children, so I can relate.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.
