Then put a radius limit. Only email zip codes within certain states to purchase. Or, make every member allowed to go to only 1 show. That's how they kept things in check in the late 90's.
I'd love a radius limit idea. That be great for msg.

    not really.
think about it...a radius limit for MSG in comparison to a radius for a place like tampa......? no comparison. i highly doubt it would 'help' us tristaters too much, and would only hurt if one wants to go to a show in a not too populous area. and it definitely is unfair to put in place radius limits for one area and not another. all bets are off for small/special shows, but for regular, big shows....just not fair. some people get NO shows anywhere near them, or very rarely...so again, any kinds of geographic limits, imo, is unfair. just my 2 cents.

Never thought of that. The idea would suck big time.

They can just simply keep it in check the old fashioned way - by limiting the number of tickets a member can buy. It worked for them for years.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

if the number of active members is increasing, this would make sense ... I like the idea. Maybe no more than 2 shows in a 12 month period. (this coming from someone who got 4 sets of 10c tickets last year).

but, I'm guessing they'll take their purchases from where ever they can get it right now ...

It still baffles me that people feel that a band should act in a way that is most conducive to their personal schedule/preferences. It isn't too hard; if you don't like the policy, don't let the door hit you on the a$$ on the way out. This is a band.....entertainment. They don't owe anyone a thing. I can't shed a tear for those who are in full cardiac arrest because they have to wait a day or two to try and book a cheap airline ticket and a room at the Super 8.

I ask everyone who is unable to function during a period when Eddie, Stone, Jeff, Mike, and Matt aren't keeping them informed of their every plan, take Mick Jagger's advice....."You Can't Always Get What You Want!".

Chicago (a city that is very attractive to travel to and easy to get to from virtually anywhere in the world) had tickets available for a couple of days.....ironically, no one suffered any physical or "real world" mental harm from this onsale process.

I sincerely hope that Sea and Kat were authorized to release information today, but held it back due to the constant complaints by the "entitled" and laughed themselves silly reading each and every desperate plea.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

maybe they WANT to make it difficult for people coming from long distances to have plans ...

    1) saves on pollution
    2) gets more locals in the building instead of the freaks who go to every show

    just a thought.

Freaks who go to every show don't give a fuck about what the board admins say.

I didn't say anything about board admins. By "they", I meant band mgmt, who control the flow of information
