(now I know this will result in everyone calling them, but...)

I called the spectrum and simply asked "When do the tickets for pearl jam go on sale?" He looked up on his computer and he said the scheduled on sale is currently listed as the 17th (meaning public on-sale July 17th - nothing to do with TC sale date). I asked him which dates were going to be going on sale, and he said the dates are yet to be released (maybe at this point he realized the show wasn't announced, and that he shouldn't tell me).

so, PEARL JAM IN PHILLY CONFIRMED


BTW - for those who want to call other rumored arenas, box offices don't always know when an event is announced, so when you call, just act like it's already been announced, and it's no big deal. Just ask "when do tickets for pearl jam go on sale" and if they have the info, they'll probably tell you.

    I started one titled "Rumored tour dates". Then I just called the venue up and straight-up asked them. They told me an on-sale date. Since that wasn't a rumor, I posted a second thread about the confirmation of Philly with a confirmed location.

    my heart just beated faster reading his post about the public sale date so I for one appreciate his info and dont have any issues with another thread about Philly. Heck, after its all announced and said and done, we will be begging for new philly threads!

    Don’t even worry about them negative comments, who cares? Its not like they are answering the damn phone at the Spectrum anyway!

    Besides why would anyone else want to call, you already did and that’s what they told you, so I don’t see why would anyone else call to get the same answer.

    Anyways thanks for the heads up, I wish I was going but with Chicago and ACL I’m all tapped out :S

    Well this should also answer the question of the tickets going on sale as soon as it is announced by 10C. And that would be a yes.

    Usually a week or so, I bet you those tkts are going on sale tomorrow suddenly just like Chicago did and then public sale on the 17th

    They are Green Day in a couple weeks and the Wiggles in August. I'm betting the people at the box office are bored out of their mind and wouldn't mind a couple calls.

    It don’t bother me, because this happens maybe twice or 3 times a year when an announcement is hinted and when tkts actually go on sale, people are excited and they are all anxiously waiting for those tkts specially now that we know that we don’t get times or dates for tkt sales going by the last 2 tkt sales, so everyone is anxious.
    Where else can we talk about this? At work? Probably 99% of that people at everyone’s office don’t give a rats ass about Pearl Jam and a TWEET.

    Im not going to Philly but I guess I could be as annoyed, but I’m not.
    Skip those threads and that’s it, there are much worse things to be upset and frustrated about than people creating several threads about Philly and Aussie shows. IMO

    Why does every rabid Pearl Jam fan feel the need to post everything they come across just because they get a bug up their ass? You got info you aren't supposed to have, then you post the info on a public board practically encouraging people to do the same. Then you people don't see any problem with the box office getting flooded with calls about shit that isn't announced yet. I'm sorry but it is not this person's job to tell you info you shouldn't fucking have in the first place. If you call the spectrum and cant wait a day or two you are a douche bag.

You got info you aren't supposed to have, then you post the info on a public board practically encouraging people to do the same.
