Will the Spectrum be General Admission

just as an fyi, tickets to the spectrum are sold thru comcast. (comcasttix.com) and wouldn't be subject to a ticketmaster fanclub policy being discussed a few threads back.
i got neil young and dead tickets thru presales, and i can promise you those were limited, as i had friends that did not get them, so i wouldn't think the 10c would have 1000 pair. maybe i'm wrong, but i bet they have just as a limited amount as the dead and neil did."If I should ever die, God forbid, let this be my epitaph: The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music." That's what the wings are forI don't think you could see that much better if it were folding chairs.
no, probably not...tho the *space* afforded, as opposed to being crushed up against each other...does help the view. the real plus of GA is the CHANCE for high 10c #s to go up front. i believe that was point of your initial post, no? and i think jeanwah agreed. just pointed out that being tiny makes it difficult. this is why i too am on the fence. i'm just a few inches taller than jeanwah, and the only way i get a great view at GA is if i am on the rail. i've done it, know it's doable...but it's quite the time investment. pros/cons to em all...so whatever happens, happens! this is yet another reason why i think getting an announcement without an instant sale to follow is a good idea. if there is a choice between GA and seats, depending on who you are going with...might require even further consideration........decisions, decisions,....and we don't even know wtf is going to happen!
Stay with me...
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow0 -
aside from a festival setting, where the band makes a conscious decision to play for a GA crowd, PJ simply doesn't trust the North American crowds with GA seating at their shows. couple that with the fact the band probably prefers reserved seating when they play most venues,...To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

Remember when bands book dates, they try to hold as many around the dates that they are planning on playing. This three date rumor has been perpetuated by over zealous fans passing on info they probably shouldn't be in the first place. PJ probably has planned one, maybe two dates, and has reserved the days around those for any variables. I don't see them having the demand to play a place close to 20gs three nights in a row.
B. You're wrong.
and
C. You're wrong.
It's not over-zealousness. It's actually legit. Initially they WERE holding extra nights. 5 total, to be exact. It's because they were working out the details, and the final word is 3 nights. Believe it if you want to. Don't if you don't. But I assure you I will be there for 3 shows in the month of October, and PJ will be there with me.
And since when don't they have that demand? Were you aware of Boston? Philly has the same sized fan base, if not larger.
You really get off on being the naysayer, don't you? That whole negative bullshit you're pulling around here is just so unnecessary. You should really find a hobby that doesn't involve pissing on others. Just sayin'.
Cry me a river why don't you. I get off on many things "being a naysayer" isn't one of them. I approach things realistically. Oh and YOU will be there with Pearl Jam, not the other way around. If you get your three nights whoopdee fucking dooda for you. Next time down take things so personal. 'Just sayin', Pearl Jam is a rock band, they are not your friends.0 -
