Midnight tonight, right?

So, I'm confused as to when the tweet was talking about. Everyone is talking about news on Wednesday or later, but doesn't Midnight Tuesday July 7th mean 15 hours from now? If they meant Tuesday night wouldn't that be Midnight Wednesday July 8th?

    Have they ever announced at mid night? It is usually early AM on the west coast, around 12 or 1 on the east coast for me.

    ya but us east coast people cant be expected to stay up past 3am for a ticket announcement...some of us still ahve jobs

    they just said have your membership in order by that time. don't stay up waiting for an announcement.


    i personally think whatever announcement there is will happen today and tickets will go on sale either tomorrow (if they meant midnight tonight) or the next day (if they meant midnight tomorrow).
    i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status

    Yeah, that's how I see it, too, I guess. I definitely wouldn't expect any tickets to go on sale at Midnight. I will not be waiting up until 2am central to find out. I don't think we'll hear anything about the shows until tomorrow at the earliest, though. I still am confused by the wording of the tweet. I think they might have meant that your membership should be up to date by the end of the day tomorrow, July 7th. Very confusing, though, by saying midnight. They should say 11:59pm or something. Not that it really matters for me, because my membership is current through next year already anyway. I was just curious as to when we can expect the announcement/ticket sales.

    I wouldn't read too much into it. Just have your membership up to date, period. If you're not about to expire, everything's good. 8-)

    I agree with the first part. The deadline they gave us is the deadline to have your membership active in order to get in on the action.

    I think the tickets will drop tomorrow or Wednesday some time...

    That's the way it was for the Eddie dates, as well as the Toronto and Chicago shows - have your membership up to date by _____, tickets went on sale the day after. I have no reason to believe the system will be any different this time - it seemed to work very well. Hopefully they will do things the same way, and just throw the tickets up for sale on the Goods section with no announcement - it's fair game that way, with no mad scrambling.

    If you guys are so anxious, why doesn't someone call the 10C and ask when you have to be active by - tonight at midnight, or tomorrow night at midnight? I'm in Canada, and at work, otherwise I'd offer, but it's a harmless thing to do!

    Thanks, I hadn't seen that. As I mentioned before, I was not worried about the membership renewal deadline, just more concerned with when that meant tickets would be going on sale. The way that I had interpreted it they might have been going on sale on Tuesday. It looks like it will likely be Wednesday or later. Cool.

    The naming of midnight is for the end of the date specified...inclusive of that date up to midnight.

    Here's something to either clarify it or make it more confusing. lol. Our meaning was for the end of the date of July 7th. It doesn't mean an announcement will come the next day. It's only about memberships being up-to-date. :)

    I just hope that they don't put tickets on sale immediately. Would be nice to have a little bit of time to make plans before making a mad dash for tickets here while praying that the website does not crash. :?

    i'm in a similar boat.. i'm going away for a few days starting tomorrow night, and internet availability will be spotty at best.

    Unfortunately, if its anything like the last announcement, tix will be on sale immediately. For Chicago and Toronto, though, they didn't sell out immediately. It took hours, and maybe days (can't remember)...so there are pros and cons to both systems...

    no I don't think they have ever made an announcement at midnight....but everyone always stays up anyways and then bitches through the wee hours of the morning because it hasn't come yet. Pretty entertaining.

    No.

    have your membership active and up to date by midnight on Tuesday.

    announcement will come on wed morning. probably around 9am PST = 12noon EST.
