if its anything like 06 you'll be lucky to have 5 or 6 Aussies in the front 10c section. same people will be there every night
*yawn*
i might give up my 10c seats and get tix in the stands instead. change of scenery.0 -

Not sure about that - so should all shows be by country specific only -including US? If someone wants to travel to a show and make that effort why should they not be able to get tickets by senority like locals?SHOW COUNT: (170) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=114, US=124, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=4, Australia=5

I remember talking to a guy in 2006 who had a much better ticket than mine to one of the Adelaide shows, turns out he'd just rocked up on the day and asked at the box office if he could get a ticket (not that that's going to work every time, but sometimes it will).
i was front row at the 2nd brisso show in 06 and the guy next to me said he brought his tickets 3 days before the show from ticketek.
3 days before and got front row. fucking ticketek hanging on to the best seats for promos and stuff and then if they don't get used sell them like the week of the show. that's a bit fucked upTo be fair I had been bothering the ticket lady for about an hour asking if anything good had come up.

yeah i did a similar thing too for the 2nd show in adelaide, i had tix about 15 rows back, checked the website the day before the show and got 2nd row.
ten club tix are definately worth it IMHO, it means you dont have to rush the website at an exact time, you have a couple of days to get on, buy tix and know you have decent tix with the people around you that you know deserve them too.Adelaide 7/3/98, Adelaide 16/02/03, Melbourne 18-19/02/03, Brisbane 10-11/11/06, Adelaide 21-22/11/06, Adelaide 17/11/06, Sydney 22/11/06, Brisbane 25/11/06, EV- Adelaide 27-28/03/11...0 -
Leaving for camping now!!!!
Let's just hope that the internet works where we are off to (near Fraser Island)...otherwise I am screwed  oh well I have my credit card at the ready and my fingers as well as my toes crossed I get reception.... can't let the kids down.
It is even raining ...hope it is not a sign.

I am happy with 10c tix. I have been 4th row for the last 2 tours but only for the first shows. My number is 194xxx. Although somehow, same people seem to be first few rows for all 3!!!
Any tips for good seats 2nd and 3rd night?????_____________________________________________
Oh, I could be new... you underestimate me
Melbourne - 16/3/95, 5/3/98, 18/2/03, 20/2/03, 13/11/06, 16/11/06, 20/11/09, EV 24/3/11 EV 25/3/11, 24/1/14, ....0 -
I'll be at the Melbourne shows for sure. If the tour is next year I'll do more but given my Hawaii adventures...its bad timing for me.
My 10C is low 200,000's. In 2006 I did the whole tour and scored awesome tix. Front row Perth and second row in Adelaide. 3rd row Melbourne, 4th sydney.
There are alot of Australian 10 clubbers from the very early days. And they are some very very cool characters indeed
I would never forfeit my membership. It has nothing to do with the tickets for me or the xmas single (but I love receiving my vinyl). It's about being a member from the early days and holding onto the love and loyalty.0 -

I'm sure they'll do 3 shows in Melbourne like they did in '06 and '03. My number is 291. I'm hoping we get more 10c shows than just 1 in each state. You can have one of my tickets if you like, I dont have someone to go with on all 3 nights which means I might end up with spares.0 -

I think that if you live in the country you should be given priority seating.
Good on peeps for travelling the world to see Pearl Jam. Its awesome that some people can afford to do that and im super jealous of them! I dont have enough money to travel around and see them in other countries, so when I see them in my own backyard, I want to be somewhere in the first 20 rows, not back in the nosebleeds.
Im not saying that only Australians get 10C tix, im just saying that I think Aussies should get the first rows, priority if you know what I mean.
For previous Pearl Jam shows in the States over the past 2 years, we have not been allowed to get 10C tickets. It was stated by 10 Club. Only fair to do the same in other countries.
Its not a dig at anyone at all so please dont take what I say as being offensive.he who forgets will be destined to remember0 -
98 - Tenclub tickets were sold after the public sale, had no idea that they were going to sell Tenclub tickets for any gigs. Can't remember whether I paid Aussie dollars or USD.. when i picked up my tickets on the night I was asked if i wanted seats or GA (standing)...
2003 - Tenclub tickets were sold in Aussie dollars.. had to send off Cash or possibly a money order to some address if my memory serves me correctly.. was seniroity based seating.
2006 - Tenclub tickets were sold through their website in USD.. and it was Seniority in the fanclub at those gigs.
my non-tenclub tickets were a definite change of scenery... Tenclub tickets are like winning the lottery.. public tickets have all been randomly poo0 -

I don't believe this is true at all - look at the tickets that go on sale today as an example.

yeah i think it was only the Ed shows that where limited to U.S. residents. and i can understand that due to the limited number of tickets.
some people managed to find a way around that thoughcondescending and sarcastic since 19800 -
My mistake Indifference, it was the Ed solo shows.
Apologies.
I still hope for aussie priority (not aussie only)he who forgets will be destined to remember0 -
Boo-sucks to that. As far as 10c concerned, I'm not Aussie at the moment. Not that I'll get much seniority anyway.
Not that I value seniority and positioning that much, so long as the next guy along (at least one of them) is rocking out just as much.
Of course, my preference is make 'em all GA and get the 15 minute early entry going, with a selection of the best side stage seats for those who want that.115 bucks for half a haircut by a novice? I want my money back!0 -
