i just hope these shows or a few are on the weekend
i actually hope they are on weekdays to help locals get tix instead of battling half the country for tix to weekend shows
i also hope they are annopuncing the west coast dates at the same time as hinted too, so that again locals are not battling to get tix against half the country
HUGE +1
What I'd gathered from the tweet is that the philly and aussie/oz shows will be told to us at midnight. I don't know bout anyone else but I find it odd to be announcing philly shows during the night time when everyone in the northeast is basically sleeping.
I doubt we get any announcement at midnight. Midnight is basically the deadline to make sure your membership is current. I'm guessing tix will be on sale like 12:30 pm the following day with an announcement coming at 1:00 pm like the last time there was a tweet for Chicago and Toronto.
99% chance there will be a limit
I guess its possible they worked something out, but most likely, there will be a strict limit
I know there is a limit in New Jersey as there was a big story a few weeks ago because for Springsteen they held back too many tickets for fan club and the band per the NJ Attorney General. I think it was at 3% in NJ.
That being said Comcast-Spectacor (owners of the Spectrum) is all about money. If PJ makes it profitable for Comcast to do a large percentage 10C show then Comcast wouldn't care - they just want their money. Maybe that means a higher price. Maybe of the proposed 3 shows one will have a higher percentage of 10C tickets vs. the others. If PJ does not play in New York and/or Boston and just these 3 proposed shows in Philly I would suspect they've negotiated more 10C seating than normal for the demand. Remember the Spectrum holds about 7,000 less than Camden where they often play when in the Philly area so the demand could be pretty high.

the spectrum is ticketed through comcast I believe, not TM, if they sell more 10c tix then they lose the service fees, unfortunately, what you say makes its less likely that the 10C will grab additional tix

Comcastix service fees are on par with TM - where is the idea coming from that there will be no service fees because it is not TM?

I was saying that Comcast will likely be hesitant to sell a greater percentage of fan club tickets because of the service fees they collect through regular sales, not that there wouldnt be service fees
i hope there's a 10c bigwig reading this thread
and there probably laughing at your pipe dream of an idea. Its a great idea and I would love to see actually it happen. but as we all know the 10c never makes things easy on us. They should do the 109 ticket sales for each show on a different day instead of all at once. that be the logical thing to do.
The concert package deal would be GREAT!! Let's see what occurs. I have a funny feeling about a fan club show for one of the dates. There has been talk about them playing the Spectrum on this board for months now, some of us (like me) even sent letters through the mail to request the show.

shit...they're worse. will-call is more expensive than print-at-home tickets, forcing you into print-at-home if there's no time for regular mail.
I'd shit my pants
Yeah, along with some other bodily functions....
Agreed.
PJ Concert Triple-Pak = please pass me a fresh pair of boxers.
