The opening band was a trip too. Model/Actriz was their name.  Lead singer was very entertaining.  He spent most of his time in the crowd performing.  The bassist and guitar player made a whole lot of cool sounds from their instruments.  The drummer sported a 5 piece kit but got the max out of those 5 pieces.

It was like club night for an opener. A gay rave if you will.  When you see the lead singer you'd understand.

Highly recommend this band live.  If they play JW the next two shows don't skip the opener!

Jack has a very good reputation for picking amazing openers. It's how I discovered Crown Lands. A freaking Canadian duo in a Canadian city. Had never heard of them. If the headliner had been anyone but Jack, they would have stolen the show.
Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall

Great photos. Glad you made the show.
Thank you!  It was quite the experience.  I didn't even have time to eat dinner beforehand lol

I know. They have texted me three times already. That one is too far from me. Brooklyn Paramount is perfect - a quick subway ride over the bridge.

I went to the Kings theater last night for JW.
Dude selling his merch was wearing a PJ hoodie from the LB tour. 👍🏻

    Very cool!

Wish I didn't have to sell my Pit tix for last night as I would have heard Underground and Let's Build a Home for the first time.  But I could not miss an important meeting and was very happy with Irving (especially Tonight!).

He was amazing! It was so nice to meet you last night, Jose. I’m still full from that dinner.

I think I liked last night’s show better than Irving Plaza. He has so much energy and I love that he played You’re Pretty Good Looking. I love that song.

Last nights was definitely better.  His interaction and off the cuff spontaneity with the band was on point.  It's those things i truly appreciate form him and his band.

Highlight was hearing the Stooges cover.  They rolled right into that one.  Was a nice treat for me to her.

Jack is great live but the No Name Live EP is garbage. I don’t get it.

Agreed. There’s absolutely no way I’d listen to that over the album.
