pjpitt89 said:I agree ^^ I listedned this morning and it wasn't bad overall. Not as good as his first 2, but better than the last. Some of it blended together too much. I know he will release the 2nd album next which is softer/more acoustic(?). I imagine that after hearing that I'll have wished he did one album putting them together with just the strongest tracks off each and sequenced in a normal fashion.Post edited by nicknyr15 on0

for some reason I've always thought that Jack would team up with Eminem for a song at some point. then blow the roof off the grammy's with a live duet performance of it. Hi De Ho shows me he'd be into it.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

part of me feels like this is a record of remixes, but we never got the originals.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

2 times through it now and I’m very surprised. It’s a great mix between the feel of album 2 and 3…I though jack took his eccentric side a bit too far on BHR. This dials it back just enough to work for me. Very excited for the show next week now.0

The Zane Lowe interview was a fun listen. It was interesting to hear Jack talk about how black vinyl is the best sounding vinyl. Apparently when you start messing with the composition of the materials it affects the sound negatively. I imagine the colored pellets you would mix in are a different composition/material than just the plain black vinyl. There was also a quick PJ reference in the interview. Zane Lowe does a great interview and the impromptu Give Peace a Chance he did with Jack and random dude on street at the end was fun.
My favorite tracks on the new record are What’s the Trick? followed by White Raven

top to bottom, these songs all are part of a whole0 -
My favorites of his will always be the acoustic records and his Bonnaroo band set that was a vault set.www.cluthelee.com0

Album sounds good. Much more focused than Boarding House. Be interested to hear the next album!Excited to see him in Atlanta in a few weeks. Boarding House songs sounded even better live, so would expect that with the Dawn tracks!0

Really enjoyed the first listen this morning. I preordered his last 2 solo albums and couldn't get into them. I may pick this one up on my way home from the office today!I LOVE MUSIC.
