do you think you guys could not only announce the shows first before everyone else and even announce them all at once? i'd like to figure out if i'm taking a vacation this summer or not. this is just bad marketing/customer relations. the diehards can bitch, they obviously don't know the first thing about proper business.

I have to agree with you inmyrvm.  Tweets are fun to play around with and speculate but this is offensive, IMO.  Club members used to always have first knowledge of shows before the venues released any information. This just opens the door for scalpers to join in advance and buy up tickets with the sophisticated computer access they have before fan members and sell them at usury rates.  This whole tour? has been a bit of a farce from the start, releasing dates here and there without any schedule to plan.  Very atypical and very non-professional from the management company handling these shows.  Several other bands I have seen or got tickets this summer (including Bruce and the E Street Band) were extremely organized and sold as many tickets to fan club members as were demanded with a two ticket limit before general sales ever happened.  Plus they staggered the times so as not to crash servers and put restrictions on who and how tickets were to be picked up. Rumours are one thing but actual printed events to the general public give me pause as to why I bother to keep paying for not a whole hell of a lot anymore. Seems like the band has totally down a 180 from the old days.   Bring back the postcards and $5.00 membership fees through snail mail.

They darn well better not have a lottery...

no disrespect to those of you who have high numbers... but remember, us low to mid numbered people joined earlier for THIS REASON.

While I understand your reasoning, I think you need to remember that not all members with high numbers are fans that only just got around to signing up etc.

How bout the next generation of fans?? The teenagers who have only just found PJ's music, and decided to become a member. It's not like they had an opportunity to sign up when, say, you did. There is every chance you have been a member for 10-15 plus years to secure that low to mid number. Some of these new fans didnt have that luxury - they would have been toddlers etc. They shouldnt be locked out of good 10C seats purely because you are older and had the chance to get membership while they were getting their baby teeth.

    Just my opinion

Anywho, the lottery is not a bad idea for additional shows in the same city - mixes it up a bit.
Stars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.

    Well, not quite...

I don't know why, but it's often forgotten that seniority didn't actually exist when most low-numbered folks joined up. It's only been in place since, what, 2000?

So the whole "I've maintained my 10c membership since 1992 for the tickets!" argument is pretty much bullshit. You might get that benefit now but you certainly didn't keep paying your 10c membership through the 90's for that reason.
