i hope not...thats what bruce and metallica do...but it wont surprise me
At least Metallica gave us advanced notice so I could well plan the road trip, book our hotel, etc. I purchased my tickets in APRIL for a DECEMBER show. :P I'm looking forward to one dynamic M-E-T-A-L show before the end of the year. 8-)

Very happy I'm a Philly Brat & am off from work during Summer! The drawback of being a Philly Brat & 10C high # member is I often get shut-out or end up w/shitty tix. Life is always a gamble-still thankful to have 10c & any "heads-up" at all! It was only thru 10C that I knew EV was touring again & even tho I got shut-out on tix I was ready for LIve Nation sale & at least was lucky enough to get some

Course I still miss the days of going a day or 2 before tix went on sale @ Spectrum to get a wristband for a place in line-then back down day of tic sale for kick-ass seats!? This was also in a time when venues had box offices & we didn't get charged that lameass "convienence fee" Alas I have really showed my age. :o

Have never been able to enjoy a truly good PJ/EV tic ever but will be happy just to hear them live whenever that might be :mrgreen::mrgreen:

Best of luck to you all securing tix, getting the shows u want & just plain partyin' your asses off w/PJ!

It works well if you have a low number and seating goes according to seniority. ;)

Not me. And I don't see it happening, anyhow.

Not when we're talking close to 2,000 tickets per show up for grabs (based on he 10% theory). With the Ed shows, it was only 300-400 or so per night, so maybe 700-800 pairs per city. Much easier to deal with. Between the sheer volume of requests they'll have to sift through and the larger allotment of tickets for the 10c, it's just not likely.

Way up there @ 430202. Anyone who orders tix for a show is given seating by seniority-lower # better seats! Phillys such a popular area for PJ fans, I'm often outta luck. Still it's nice to have a heads-up!?

I have a high number too! Maybe one day I'll get lucky! Been a fan for a long time but didn't really know about all the 10c stuff. Kinda sucks in a way... been listening to them since Ten, saw my first concert in '96, and now see them whenever I can.

Would love to be up front for once, but I really am happy wherever I sit. Have so much fun when we have lawn seats - try to make the best of every situation. Just feel lucky to get tickets. Hope I am lucky this time around!

I hear ya. I have a decent number (178XXX) and my tickets have never scored me better than 11th row. Still great seats, so I am not complaining but it just goes to show you how many people could have really scored a once in a lifetime chance with the lottery system of 2008. 95% of us will never get in the first 2 rows with out tickets. No matter where we go.

do you think you guys could not only announce the shows first before everyone else and even announce them all at once? i'd like to figure out if i'm taking a vacation this summer or not. this is just bad marketing/customer relations. the diehards can bitch, they obviously don't know the first thing about proper business.

I have to agree with you inmyrvm.  Tweets are fun to play around with and speculate but this is offensive, IMO.  Club members used to always have first knowledge of shows before the venues released any information. This just opens the door for scalpers to join in advance and buy up tickets with the sophisticated computer access they have before fan members and sell them at usury rates.  This whole tour? has been a bit of a farce from the start, releasing dates here and there without any schedule to plan.  Very atypical and very non-professional from the management company handling these shows.  Several other bands I have seen or got tickets this summer (including Bruce and the E Street Band) were extremely organized and sold as many tickets to fan club members as were demanded with a two ticket limit before general sales ever happened.  Plus they staggered the times so as not to crash servers and put restrictions on who and how tickets were to be picked up. Rumours are one thing but actual printed events to the general public give me pause as to why I bother to keep paying for not a whole hell of a lot anymore. Seems like the band has totally down a 180 from the old days.   Bring back the postcards and $5.00 membership fees through snail mail.
