Offering Live Pearl Jam Audio Data DVD B+Ps here @ 10club!

9. Please respect the band's Taping & Camera policy (https://www.pearljam.com/tenclub).
Trading audience-recorded PJ shows even-up, ok. No video. Bootlegs: Selling, linking to, or making offers are not ok. 2 for 1 trades is making profit, not ok.

Doesn't say anyting about B+P's (blanks & postage). Was wondering, today, July 2nd 2009, can it be a start of a new page, to offer up Live Pearl Jam Audio CDR or Data DVDr or even Bluray B+P's here on the 10club board?

What is a B&P?

B&P basically stands for Blanks and Postage. This arrangement allows a new trader who has a small or non-existent collection to acquire shows. In return for sending blank discs with return postage, you can end up with excellent shows on CD. The person distributing the music only gets the satisfaction of spreading some incredible music and joy, and assisting someone else in sharing something they love.

How Does It Work?

An individual who has a show to offer will post an announcement, usually to an internet newsgroup. You apply and are selected. Or you could post an appeal and garner a response. You are then given instructions, and an address. You send off the required number of blank CD-R discs, along with a return mailer with sufficient postage. The trader takes your blank discs and records the concert onto those discs, and then mails them back to you. The trader receives nothing in return for this service.

For example, rules would go as follows:

**** Please read the rules very carefully ****

http://www.mcnichol.com/bnp/ for rules on B+P's. Check out the pictures.

- I can not, will not accept return US stamps for postage (or any other international stamps) please. I can not use them.
- Either you find Canadian stamps (the right amount to send back to you) or you must send US/Canadian money for postage.
- I can burn dvd+r & dvd-r. 8x + perfered.
- Verbatim, TDK, Sony, FujiFilm, TY's are accepted. If you're sending something else, please pm me.
- NO Memorex, Princo, Imation, MMore, EMTec, Intenso or other 'no name' discs are not accepted. It's cause they're cheap & they don't pass verification too well.
- Do not include jewel cases (just have them in CD sleeves).
- You always need to send a padded envelope (already addressed to yourself) to send the discs back to you.
- Include a note inside which shows you would like burned, user name and email address.

---

What say's you? We used to do this at the old touch base thread. Things got pretty intense with video. I'm sorry. :( It won't happen again. If we started this audio b+p experience up, it would all take place in the Given To Fly (live) thread. It's only live audio & live audio 4 life! What do you think? :)

D, here is a question for you.

How many GB or TB is every proper full pearl jam line up show between 1990-2008. In FLAC/SHN or a combination ;)

Okay, it partly sucks ass being a student. If i had the money i'd build a beast of a media storage machine. Plenty of Hard drives in a raid array, a tower of CD/DVD drives and a juicy processor. Then i could really let rip and start collecting and b + ping. Still got my DJ case with over 450 shows in it. Was annoying ripping ISOs and having to delete them to make room for someone else's shows ;p and then re ripping them a week later. Oh and don't get me started on how awesomeburning more one DVD/CD a time would be!

Sweet! Just need the official ok here from Kat & Sea.
Is it ok to start offering B+P's (blanks & postage), on only live audience recordings {shn/flac formats} (no ed solo) here on the 10club board?

    Thanks! :)
