if you go to moma, only go friday night. it's free from 4:30 on. but you should get there around 4 cause i'm sure there will be one hell of a line. but worth saving 20 bucks.

if you go to the met or natural history museum, don't get suckered into paying the 20 bucks. it's suggested! you can pay whatever you want. i'd love to be able to pay 20, but i'm not made of money. i give 2 to 5 each time i go.

i can't believe more people aren't suggesting the BK bridge! you get such amazing views of brooklyn and the city.

if you're feeling really daring, take the L train to the morgan stop. pizza at roberta's is the best :)

what days in august are you going? i'm catching the yankees redsox game on the 7th, if it's that weekend then we should meet up
i think im going home that weekend, ill have to check with my dad he bought the ticket.
might be nice to catch that game, how much would tickets be?
And what area u gonna be in? also what was that about folding pizza?

haha tickets to that game would be sold out...but you can get cheap bleacher tickets for any game except when the yanks are playing the red sox or the mets (those are often sold out fast)

as for folding the pizza, it is practically customary in nyc (and surrounding areas) to fold your pizza, don't eat it open faced, you must fold it hotdog style. (longways from crust to tip) people will see you and make you feel like an outcast lol...and if you're going to have a hotdog, either get one from a street vender (may not look or seem clean but it tastes pretty good) or go to the original nathans on coney island (that's where they have that huge hotdog eating contest)...those papaya places are pretty good though.

a good place to get a beer & one of the oldest and best bar in nyc

you can only buy 2 kinds of beers (McSorley's light or dark) and you must buy 2 beers at a time -- don't forget to try the hot mustard on a cracker with cheese & onion (a house specialty)

you could try this place (museum)

central park zoo is a great place to see polar bears & penguins
also the mets is just a block away
