I pay $20 a year to get up to date news about the band, and instead we always here it from other sources first, I have every right to complain. I love the tenclub, when tour time comes around they always hook us up, but they could be a little bit more reliable about what is going on right now

Everyone has the right to complain, but in most instances you shouldn't. Why? Well, I see it as a bit of the boy who cried wolf situation. At some point you might actually have something important to complain about, and this is not the one.

Can't wait to hear this song and be able to make out more then the yeah's.

actually, you pay 20 bucks a year for a shot at good tickets and a single.

this isn't 1996 anymore. the world is different. for better or worse, information flies around at the speed of light, and with a lot less control than years ago.

you got some info - does the source really matter?

Well, then there's your first mistake. Nobody promised you up-to-date news about the band.

whah whah whah.....you must be able think of something better to complain about....can't you?
  • Its a mystery why the 10c don't bother updating us with the info first. But it more fun digging around trying to find whatever you can out about new releases, than having everything there is to know put on pj.com officialy. That would kill the rumors and fun...

Maybe September 22nd is the tentative release date they have to give out. To be safe its probably the latest the album will be out.. Ten club will give us an official date when they are 100% sure of its release date.

Maybe they hold back news because they get a kick out of people who freak out about stuff like this. Is Sept. 22 gonna get here any quicker if you found out from tenclub or some radio station? Some of you people crack me up with what you think you are entitled to.

We get such great value for $20 that it absolutely blows me away when people have the nerve to complain... I would pay $50 annually for this level of service with no questions asked. At eighty dollars a year I would bitch. Find me another fan club that charges $20 a year, and when you do, see what's included and their level of communication with the fans. I'd be willing to bet it'd be less than this, and if on the rare chance it's greater service than this, my guess would be that it's a small band with a small fan club.

soo you don't have a problem with the band manger doing an interview with billboard mag and telling news bout the cd and not us fans or a german mag telling us the track lisiting for the new cd and not the 10c or anything else. I wouldn't even pay a penny for the shit service we get. Go check out what the band nin does for its fan or dmb or phish.

Just out of curiosity... what would such a situation be? Let's be real here... how is a total lack of any information NOT something complaint-worthy in a fan club?

You know not everyone that is a die hard Pearl Jam fan needs 24/7 information about what the band's doing. If Pearl Jam does something that gets a lot of attention the casual fan will google them and they'll be directed here. While Ten Club may not be update all the time, when official news breaks it's posted here and people will find out. Plus $20 for the single and presale tickets are well worth the price.

    Oh yeah, MMR rocks!

while im fine with the $25 cost you are so right about NIN going WAY above and beyond! and thats including while on tour - when trent should be too busy to do anything... even AIC had some cool updates throughout the recording process of their newest album... i dont need anything that cheesy or invasive but just touching base means alot to the fans... not even a matter of $... i would just appreciate it... and i dont think its beyond their means

you would think PJ would atleast release an official statement here to confirm or deny news coming in from other sources... that tracklisting got alot of attention around here and to this day we dont know if its legit

it is "THE" radio station in philly. they have been a rock and roll station since 1968 - helped break Bruce Springsteen in the USA and love PJ. Matt Cord the evening DJ is 10C member who used to play a block of PJ each night at 10:00 pm. They no longer do that but Matt plays PJ all the time and hosted a national radio show on the re-issue of Ten. Matt has also setup basketball games for Jeff Ament when they come to town as Matt is also the pa announcer for the Sixers. you can listen to wmmr at wmmr.com as they stream live. they have a great set of DJs. really worth listening to. pretty good for commerical radio.

guys, chill, the album and the single are not yet available, I'm sure as soon as they are we'll get an email from the tenclub confirming.

Its no biggie, the info will arrive when its ready.

The way I see it, it's in their best interest to give us information earlier rather than later, so I would imagine they're still finalizing things, otherwise they would tell us.

  • I can't wait to here this song. When's it going to be released? Oh why, oh why won't the ten club tell us anything. I'm gonna miss the song on the radio, and the album's release, and they will play a show at my friend's backyard bbq for a bunch of people who don't even like the band (corporate big wigs from target) just like in my rabid, sweaty, pearl jam nightmares.

Seems like the info is out there, ya big babies.

ps I get your stance, babies. Your 20 bucks should get you into the inner circle of info. Keep whining, I'm sure someone besides me is listening
