Led Zeppelin - DVD would be pretty much top of my list of music dvd's. 5 and a half hours of footage of Zep covering 1969 up to the Knebworth 1979 gigs. Incredible stuff

If not for Live at Pompeii, this would be the best music dvd.

RORY GALLAGHER IRISH TOUR is fucking AWESOME.
You don't get the flow of a concert, but this is probably Rory's best era, and definately his best band line-up.
Everyone on here, go buy this dvd, or if you're unemployed and broke, hit the torrent sites.
Awesome to know a fellow PJ fan is also a fellow Rory fan, so let's create some more.

There's another one - Live at the Cork Opera House - but I got it on Amazon and it would only play in the "Europe Region." So, I had to make 1 of the 5(?) allowable changes on my computer, watch it and send it back. :(

I was at this event, about 5 feet from the Edge:

Yes, MUCH more appreciated in Europe.

  • Keef from somewhere in LA is super.
    INXS from London.

I also like the Dire Straits greatest hits for just listening too. Same goes with Thin Lizzy. Both are the cheesy vids but the selection of tunes rocks.

The Cure's Trilogy is pretty good and a lot of people don't like em but Coldplay's dvd is really good, too. Ani DiFranco's Trust is also a good one

Their dvd might be better than any given album they've ever done.

    I like:

    NIN- Beside You In Time
    MMJ- Okonokos
Sigur Ros- hell if I know how to spell it
U2- Zoo TV, Live from Slane Castle
    Talking Heads- Stop Making Sense

bump and shameless self quoting becos the talking heads dvd is so good it's not even fucking funny.

Neil Young Heart of Gold (which is him Live at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville) is far and away my fave DVD. I also like AIC unplugged and Led Zeppelin The Song Remains the Same.
