    Why go back? Drive to Chicago on Sunday. Stay at the Hyatt for $57 a night, and drive back after on Tuesday... :mrgreen:

    that was the original plan... really cant miss class on monday though... i might just drive back and forth after each show... ill already be in chicago on the 23rd so its really only 390 miles of driving :lol:

    i think common sense might win this one... thats alot of money in gas alone... why do bands always schedule shows this way?!?

    what makes you so sure that there wont be an alpine date this fall?

    I don't think that Alpine qualifies as the "Western United states" ... then again, neither does Philly. But it is too late for shows at Alpine after early September. And I don't think we will see any more shows until around the end of September. There is a VERY good chance that these shows will be the only ones within a 6 hour drive of you.

    i have tickets to both shows... scored an extra night 2 from someone here with a really good 10C # so i would really regret not being able to make it... but ive been content in the past with just 1/2... regretful but content

    im just so poor that im trying to figure out how to justify it... the initial expense is already made so i just gotta limit travel expenses... its totally doable... if i can use my parents car... but then im stuck with a car down at school and no parking spot... and they would need the car back... FUCK... remember when i said "its totally doable"? its not... unless theres a very late night / early morning bus to champaign... or if i can carpool
