You know, when in Rome and whatnot. When you look around at the other 2,500
people in the room and they're all sitting quietly, enjoying the show, that should
    be a big fat clue.

I was at a Lyle Lovett show a while back at a hall where you could hear a pin drop.
I, of course, was seated next to a drunk chick who "shout whispered" to her boyfriend
for the first hour of the show. After several people around us asked her to please be
quiet they finally had her tossed by the ushers.

I kept my mouth shut, but man was I happy when she hit the streets.

Drunk and stupid is no excuse.

I agree!!! I love to stand & dance but not cool if everyone else is seated. & it's just common courtesy to shut the fuck up when someone is talking-I woulda liked to have actually heard more of the storytelling & arc instead of the drunks behind me shouting about how awesome arc is-I guess I'll never really know!? I'm all about havin' fun & NOT telling others what to do but what it really comes down to is just having basic consideration for those around you

At the first Albany show someone kept requesting Hunger Strike, but calling it something else, I don't remember what they were calling it. It was obnoxious. They might have been calling it "I'm Going Hungry" LOL

At least people stood up during Porch in Albany, that bugged the hell out of me at the first NY show last year, I got yelled at for getting up during the last and hardest song of the first set.

Porch was amazing last night...I forgot to mention that in my other post.

The only yelling that made sense last night was when the one guy yelled 'Play what you want!!'

I really loved it when this guy and chick behind us kept yelling 'Yelloooowww Ledbetterrrrr' over and over and over. Jeez

In Atlanta night 1 some guy in the front yelled for some song, and Ed said back "Yeah, I'm going to play that song all by my fucking self" or something like that. It was probably Ledbedder or something.
I surfaced and all of my being was enlightened.

Thank you! All of this whining and complaining about how other people act or sound is exactly the opposite of what ALL of the catalog of this band and this man that all of you seem to worship so much is all about! Complain all you want, but you can't always get your way like a spoiled little brat. And I would like to say that I find it extreamly funny that so many of you seem to think you know how Eddie is feeling at any given minute( some posts have actually "spoken" for him) Please! Oh, and he did play Lukin, so how annoyed was he?
I seem at home inside your head... all locked doors and unmade beds...

So, you have been a member of this message board for years without posting once. Then for your first post you choose a thread that has been dead for 2 months. To top it off, you chose to speak up in support of the drunk frat guys that were showing up to the Ed solo shows?

List of thing that annoy me:

    1. People who revive dead threads on message boards.
    2. Drunk people who shout in theatres.

One more thing, it really didn't take a mind reader to know how Ed felt about it. He repeatedly asked people to keep the shouting down. I'm pretty sure the only people who didn't understand were the shouters themselves.
