Eddie greeted about 40 of us by the bus. Let me tell you that story. After waiting about 30 minutes, a guy comes over to us and tells us that Eddie usually doesn't come out until about 3am. He wanted to make sure we knew that early on. He was Eddie's bus driver. At about midnight another guy comes out and says Eddie is not going to greet us, he's getting right on the bus and heading out and we were wasting our time. He said I can't make you leave but you're waiting for nothing. He was Jesse, Eddie's security guard. (after that about 10 people left) At about 12:45 the bus driver comes back out and tells us that he feels sorry for us because we're sitting there for no reason. Immediately after he goes back in, Jesse comes back out and tells us all to stand up and form a single line against the wall. WE DID WHAT THE MAN SAID! He then stated that Eddie was going to come out and say hello but we were not to ask for pictures or autographs. Eddie then came out and shook everyone's hand, including my wife and I...great moment for us. Fucking incredible evening. It's obvious that they try to dwindle the crowd down for Eddie but if people are there, he's going to say hello. The lesson here.....if you intend to wait, don't believe Jesse or the bus driver, and don't leave...

Darn!!! I wish I would have stayed. My son and I were 2 of the 10 that left. (wiping tears)

I've seen PJ many times but last night was the first time I saw EV solo, and it was everything I expected and more. I had 5th row center seats (THANKS 10 CLUB!!!!) and, from where I was sitting, the crowd was awesome (except for the one douche bag sitting right behind me who occasionally yelled out songs and random comments).

I was sort of behind you and that guy was a major jackass.

I couldn't give a flying fuck about what he does with the money. It's his song, it's his money. Just keep it straight. That's all I ask.
I have no patience for bad music and stupid people...

It was a pleasure to meet those of you I did. I once was The Bride, but now I'm Diane Court at this place. To the soon to be mother who was wearing the "Future 10Clubber on Board" shirt, I say hello. You are awesome.

    Peace out,

    Jared

That shirt was great!! You or the 10C should sell them..
Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.... (Voltaire)

Im really confused why Ed wouldn't sign any autographs. I mean all of us have spent hundreds and some have spent thousands of dollars on going to shows and buying bootlegs ect. And for Jesse to tell you guys that sorta upsets me. I for one actually was one of the few that left b/c for one it was his anniversary and two Jesse said we were wasting our time so out of respect we left. After I found out he came out I was like damn I cant believe I didnt stay, but now I could really care less.
It's not like the only reason I was waiting was for an autograph. A simple hello and a smile would have been just fine. I think it's just the fact that what Jesse said that gave me the impression that he could care less about the fans. I know that's not true but signing a few posters or taking a few pictures.. Why is that such a big deal.
But none the less it was a great show
    Thank you Eddie :D

I think they do that more when there is a big crowd... people have gotten him to sign beofre and after shows plenty of times... but i think they do that when theere is ALOT of people around or if its before the show... dudes preparin for it ya know... I think its great that he recognizes we wait and comes over and says hello... Worth more to me than an autograph... you can get that on EBAY...

  • Saw the Atlanta show on the 23rd, my first EV show and was blown away! I just joined 10c this year and won tickets through the lottery and was very pleased with my seats! Thanks 10c!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am looking for the guy who sat 3 seats down from me and my sister who snapped a photo of us. We were Orchestra section C seats 105 and 106, right behind the soundboard. I would really love a copy of this picture since this was my sis and my first road trip together and we were celebrating my birthday! So in case you lost my email I thought I would try on here! Please PM me! Thanks!

Also would like to say thanks to Shannon for being so fun during the show, you were awesome! Good luck with the CPA gig!
  • All I'm saying is it would be great if a recording would show up. I loved these shows.
