Just FYI if anyone is interested... I am selling the following posters (all signed/numbered) on eBay to help pay for an engagement ring for my Princess Buttercup. These are 3 of my absolute favorites that I own, but what better cause than true love, eh?
Cheers, everyone... Thanks for looking.

"I don't believe in damn curses. Wake up the damn Bambino and have me face him. Maybe I'll drill him in the ass." --- Pedro Martinez
i am admittedly an expressobeans amateur, so THANK YOU
i have a profile on the forums, but don't really do anything else on the site but use it as a baseline for the market.
thanks again, jimed14!!!
i'm surprised you haven't been flamed yet.
well, pat yourself on the back because now you've 'flamed' me. thanks for the bump either way.
just selling some posters, man. no need to get upset. i have the right to ask what i want to get for them. if i wanted to sell them lower, i'd have posted them lower. i think the price ranges are fair based on expressobeans history and the fact that they're in mint condition and signed/numbered. if i can't sell them for that price, then they won't sell. we'll all live.
not sure the point of your commenting on it, but like i said, thanks for the bump and feel free to comment further if you'd like. i'm anti-censorship and will happily accept bumps for publicity.
lol, awesome...
thanks for the good luck wishes.
Whats it to you if he started the bidding lower? They are rare posters and are very expensive. It was probably cheaper to set it at that price then set a reserve.
won't let the darkness swallow me.....
i love those lyrics... were i to get another pearl jam tattoo, i'm almost positive it would be those words...
oh, and BUMP
Again, thanks to everyone for the interest and for putting up with my daily bumps. Wish me and the bidders good luck!!
Sorry dude, we are all fighting the hard times cause of bad decisions by our leaders who are controlling this world. But we all gotta work for the money. Buying something Pearl Jam, then reselling it on the Official Message Board, promoting your eBay shop, using the excuse 'need money for wedding' ring, which all will probably be using now to sell their posters or have been using for a long time, is not cool. Not cool at all! IMO!

Congrats on your Wedding D. Didn't get the invite!

I'm not getting married, silly! Not yet! If I did, you know you're all invited.
if i don't sell them, i don't sell them. we'll all live. i'd like to think that it's my right to sell them for what i think they're worth though, isn't it? especially if you consider their sale history as reported by expressobeans? i mean, they are my posters. posters that i myself paid good money for. so if i do make the tough choice to sell them, whether it's for wedding expenses (true) or any other reason (not true), it has to be worthwhile to me too, right? or should i just sell them all for $50 and make you happy?
if you look at the starting bids on each of these, i'm not reaching for the stars here. at least i don't think so. check expressobeans and make sure you're comparing my price for MINT s/n posters to other like posters on there.
i'm all for people expressing how they feel and don't mind what you think of me, having never met me and never spoken to me and knowing absolutely nothing about me. but methinks you exaggerate a bit with your comparison of fur coats and $1000 and what-not... the starting bids are fair. whether anyone wants to pay or not is up to them. that's the beauty of a free-market system, just like some people don't want to pay $30 for a pearl jam t-shirt, but others don't think twice about it. the amount of money isn't the point. it's just whether you have something someone else may want for a price they deem fair. and if you ask me, the starting bids are fair. not like i posted them all starting at a record high price. not even close.
lastly, i'm not promoting my ebay shop. i don't have an ebay shop. never have. what i am promoting is the sale of 3 pearl jam posters and i'm doing that promotion via a pearl jam message board. i'd say i picked the right audience.
as i said to the last guy/girl that didn't like this thread, thank you for your feedback and for the bump.
if you started the bidding lower you might have some bidders.
some dude sold a framed vegas for $400. that is more or less reasonable.
but yea, here's a bump for you, you definitely need it with time winding down...but til you have a bidder on at least one of those auctions let me say....azdrummerboy=fail : )
we'll see...
oh, and if you are right, believe me that i will consider it a lesson learned. as i said to demetrios, i am no ebay pro. i have no ebay store, so maybe from an ebay perspective, it will turn out i could have done better. but i started the bidding at the minimum price i'd accept. if i can't get it, i'll just hang onto them for now.
like i said, we'll see.
thanks again for the bump.
well, despite what the other guy said earlier, this sale is motivated by a personal situation (nuptials) that won't/can't wait for the market to rebound for posters. so as i said, if they sell, great! everyone wins. and if they don't, then i get to keep my posters and need to find another source of incremental revenue.
by the way, the side effect of this whole selling things for money thing has made me fall in love with craigslist. you can sell ANYTHING on there. i've been amazed at what people have bought from me.
sorry, i digress. remember, this thread is still pearl jam related.
I sold my old car on Craigslist within 48 hrs after posting it.
Good luck on your auctions.
You rent a hall for $400. Print up 2000 tickets for the event and sell them for $2 each (only 20% of the tickets you sell will result in people that actually show up so keep that in mind). Round up prize donations from local businesses to raffle off at said event. Buy a bunch of beer and even more shooters. Sell drink tickets for $2 each. Clean up at the end of the night and count your money. I made about $5k at my shag.
Never mind selling crappy '98 posters for $1000. Party your ass off with your friends and make a load of cash while you do it.
